I've started typing this review several times now and keep deleting because I can't find the right words to describe how amazing this place is. We first visited several days ago and got breakfast - the turkey croissant and acai bowl, the flat white coffee and iced chai tea. Everything was fantastic, the acai bowl was absolutely perfect - the fruit was fresh and ripe, the acai was delicious and the mix of granola honey and peanut butter was so amazing. The croissant was baked to perfection and the pesto sauce was like nothing I've ever tasted before. I had asked for my flat white to be on the sweeter side which Moe happily obliged and it was perfect - sweet but not TOO sweet.

We loved this place so much we came back two days later. Moe remembered us, and after we ordered asked if I wanted the flat white sweet again. I had forgotten to ask for the sweet but he remembered.

We are not San Diego locals but we will definitely make it a point to return to Village Cafe any...

Wrapping up breakfast here now and had to write a review before I forgot! Visiting SD for the day. After reviewing every 5-star breakfast spot in the area, we settled on Village Cafe because of how fresh the ingredients looked.

The vibe is super cute and thoughtful. Outlets at the small albeit comfortable tables and cozy holiday decor. The food and coffee (and oat matcha for me) was exceptional. Complimentary biscuit with drink orders are a nice touch. We ordered the avocado toast and the acai bowl. We killed it! So fresh and tasty. Didn't leave a crumb. Lol.

I also overheard the owner offer another customer the option to text for her order pick up next time. The barista offered us water mid-meal. Wish the world all exhibited this level of service and kindness! This would be my daily breakfast spot if I lived in the area. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Worth trying just to support this worthwhile small business!...

If you are looking for a cafe that cares about quality, care, and their customers, you need to come to Village. The owner was one of the nicest people I have ever met, so giving and welcoming. They have their own local community that comes all the time for a good reason. The coffee is amazing, I got the village special and it was sooo smooth, delicious, and creamy. Actually one of the best latte’s I’ve ever had. I also got the breakfast sandwich, it was massive and delicious. And lastly I got the acai bowl and it had so much fruit and delicious toppings. Everything is an amazing price for such quality food and drinks. Do them a favor and come in and try it out, you won’t be...
