Denny's — Restaurant in San Dimas

I have lived in san dimas over 20 yrs. Ive dined out there. I took my food to go. I notice that there are never many african american people working nor dining in. My husband and stopped there after leaving the hospital visiting a family member. However perhaps it was just the waiter. He wasnt really people friendly. I think the waiter should example people friendliness. I noticed the same waiter laughing and talking with oth customers. This is what made me feel DIFFERENT. We ordered breakfast. I wasnt aware that 2 cups of regular coffee would be over 7.00. Dennys experienced a class action lawsuit many years ago. However times has really changed. I did not frequent there due to the pass history. The waiter was my only contact otherthan the cashier. While paying we were asked about gratuity. Id left a small tip at the table. I never mind paying the waiter. Yet it always based on the emotion the served us with. I wanted to write a review but days passed and it popped up on my phone, asking how was my experience. 3yrs later . I DECIDED TO visited march 27 2023 . breakfast Short on staff but the waiter was nice. HOWEVER,THERE WAS RED STAINED LIPSTICK ON THE COFFEE CUP. WE CALLED FOR ANOTHER CUP. WHEN THE FOOD WAS SERVED I NOTICED A WHITE HAIR ON MY WHEAT TOAST. I CALLED THE WAITER. WE TIPPED THE WAITER SHE REPLACED THE TOAST BUT IT WASNT BROWNED. WHEN I LOOKED DOWN UNDER THE TABLE THERE WAS OLD FOOD/MEAT. THE FLOOR WAS DIRTY. THERE WAS NO DISCOUNT OFFERED

11/23/23 I came back all this time later THE WORSE EVER . NO STAFF . LONG WAIT . FOOD COLD . LOUD CUSTOMERS IRRATE,CURSING. . NO controlled environment . Loud college students INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE BUSINESS. THEY WERE RUNNING ACROSS THE STREET. SIITING ON THE GRASS... THE POLICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED. THE RESTAURANT SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN OPEN. NOT ENOUGH STAFF THE SERVICE THE PUBLIC. THIS SITUATION CREATS A HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT. I AM REQUESTING A FULL REFUND OF 42.00. ONE HOUR AND THIRTY MINS WAITING. ITS THANKSGIVING AND THE BOOTH WASNT CLEAN... ONE FLAVOR OF SURUP. COULD WARM THE SURUP . THE STAFF SAID SHE COULD RUN HOT WATER ON IT. ITS NOT WORTH MY TIME SND MONEY TO EVER...

This is the second time I come to this place to be treated so badly with poor service. The Asian man that works the night shift is a very horrible person. I asked for my meat to be extra well done and the food came out to me in a very fast timeframe because it wasn't cooked right. Then after I had my food because I was really hungry and didn't complain about the meat. After I finished I got up to go out to have a smoke and asked him for a coffee refill and he asked me to pay them go smoke. Implying that I was going to run away and not pay the bill. This was very rude of him and then when I did pay and came back from my smoke break he had not taken anything off the table except for my French vanilla creamer for my coffee. He poured a refill but it was cold and I had no creamer to go with my coffee but my plate was still on the table. Kinda think this guy don't like his job and has a really bad way of showing people respect that come to this establishment. I'm going to formally complain to the dennys corp about this one. Now this makes it two time that this place has mis treated a good loyal paying customer. He don't get a tip today because of his attitude and the things he did. Sorry, but I font think I will be coming here again at this point because I won't be treated bad three times. You know the shame on you and shame on me sane. Well this is not going to...

Very unprofessional place and hostess. I walked in to have some breakfast at 4:30am and I asked the hostess to allow me to sit in a different area as I already felt that these people sitting in front of me were very loud and vulgar with there talk. Every word that came out of the males mouths was one word followed by a cus word. Also they were very racist and the hostess just let all this be without actually doing anything about it. So this place now is off my list of places to visit for anything. The worst part of it was they were being racist about Arabs/middle easterns and I'm one. I just kept my mouth shut for the respect of the other customers. Otherwise I would of spoken up. Please make sure to really research this place before you actually sit to eat here. It seems like the hostess knew them and was comfortable enough to let them cus and be very vulgar and racist. That was not what I expected. The hostess name is Sheryl. Please do me a favor and do the proper research about this location and also be very careful when visiting this location for any part of dining. It has been the worst experience for me now and I have been coming here for awhile now. The hostess was so caught up in the couple's conversation that she forgot to get my order right. Like I said, never again for me. I'm done with this location for good. Also going to report this misconduct...
