This place is sooo good! I've lived near the area for a while but only stumbled upon it recently and I wish I'd known it ages ago!
Food - delicious and plated so well! Have tried both breakfast and lunch meals and they are superb! Even the simplest iced tea felt like an elevated version I just simply had to order again!
Ambience - top notch! The decor is beautiful and stylish. The place has ample space for customers. While it's located along the highway, it's surprisingly quiet and relaxing inside. Great place to study, work, hang out, eat!
Service - The owner is such a gem; when my husband, baby, and I came as first time customers (and people with kids know how hard it is to go to a cafe/restaurant with a baby) he was so accommodating, and even directed us to the lounge area which had a bigger space for our family. He, and his friendly staff, provided such excellent customer service that my family knew we were coming back again.
And we did, and we will definitely keep...
Read moreIt was like walking into a buddyâs coffee shop and youâre close with the owner. The guy taking our order has to be the owner or heâs just fantastic at his job. He was very friendly, described the items on the menu, and made recommendations for food and drinks.
He told us the breakfast burrito is what theyâve become unintentionally known for and it was DELICIOUS. It comes with a dip that takes it over the top.
I got the Seville latte (the baristas recommendation), my husband got an iced caramel Latte. The Seville is unique, it has orange đ flavors in it and was surprisingly good. It is great if you like a latte not too sweet but but bitter either. It was complex and balanced. I loved it.
The guy asked if we lived around here and once we told him we were visiting he asked what kinds of things we liked and then he made a bunch of restaurant recommendations that the locals love.
I cannot rave about him and this place enough. I only wish we had found it earlier in our trip....
Read moreI'm a bit reluctant to write this rave review, as Bravado is a personal fave, and I like keeping the local knows and go-to's on the hush. Still, I've been prompted to review, and I am no stranger to breaking rules.
Bravado is consistent and clever. For example, the door is usually closed yet unlocked on my way in or out. My husband has been to Bravado exactly once; I'm concerned he's having an affair with Bravado's cappuccino. I like that the cafe is usually quiet even when it draws a crowd (including game days). I love the ambience, and I remain grateful to the gods and goddesses that this cafe survived the pandemic.
When (not "If") you swing by, remind Lee how cool he is. Words and phrases like "ambitious", "generous", "genious" and "cool as all get out" thrive in their own category, as does Bravado. There's little need to take my word for it. See and taste for yourself. Andrés recommends the cappuccino. I recommend making Lee laugh.
