Cupcakin' Bake Shop — Restaurant in San Francisco

Cupcakes are some of the best in the bay! my favorite! However, I could not recommend this location at all! as their hours are never correct and their text bakery concierge doesnt know their real time hours. They close early always and its not stated anywhere on the website and there is nowhere to check for updated hours. Earlier this month, I placed a birthday order for cupcakes to be picked up at 4:45 on a Thursday. I received a call at 2:30 that they were closing early and Could I pickup earlier. I chose this pickup time for a reason, as I was in meetings all day. Trying to reschedule my day, in traffic, and make it to the alternate pickup at a neighboring store, was extremely stressful, especially on my birthday. Although they were nice, Being called that close to pickup time was so inconsiderate since they know they close early. Later pickup times shouldnt even be listed as an option, if it cant be honored. The location is out of the way, so its not the easiest to get to.

I assumed it was a one off but today I decided to make the hike over to chase center just for these, since I was craving their cupcakes. They were closed-4 hours before stated closing. One of the box office staff said they never even opened. They also dont offer any small same day online orders for pickup. I work at the Chase Center and this afternoon Thursday, August 8th, I was gifted my choice from 4 Cupcakin Cupcakes 1 of the 4 choices was a stunning Key Lime cupcake which I selected. I can honestly say I have never had a cupcake this moist and delicious in my life. While making my rounds at the Chase Center I walk past Cupcakin several times a day. Now knowing how delicious their cupcakes are it is going to be difficult not to go in and sample more cupcakes especially the Key Lime again.

These are without a doubt the BEST Cupcakes in San Francisco! The perfect stop to reward yourself after mastering your 10,000 steps for the day. You have to go early for the best selection. Trust me waiting until 4pm will limit your selection. With 2 sizes and numerous flavors you will enjoy all of them but my favorites are the Warriors Chocolate on Chocolate and the Butterscotch Drizzle.
