I love the homestyle cooking. Prices are lower than most other similar Mexican restaurants in its category iin the area. They offer daily specials featuring at least 2 different meals. The staff is friendly and helpful and will fix and adjust your plate just how you like it (unlike other restaurants). Service is fast whether busy or not but faster when it's slow. There is no music but there are 3 large screen TVs (with no sound). I've seen street musicians come in and sing and play their guitars which is great. The menu is comprehensive, covering all the options you could expect from tacos to tostadas and daily specials. I came on a Sunday and settled on the camarones a la diabla (spicy shrimp).
