Hole in the wall small business with limited seating. Amazing sandwiches. Hands down the best tropical fruit tea I have ever had, it even had real passion fruit inside. Every item on the menu so far is amazing. The owners are very sweet and hardworking, but their English isn't great. They accept cash and Venmo. The full menu is only available in person but they are also available on DoorDash. Eel Sandwich - Good quality eel with unagi sauce, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, mayo, mustard, and red onion. I added on provolone cheese ($1.50) and avocado ($2) the total was $15. (which is very cheap since eel, especially sushi grade eel, is very expensive) Smoked salmon sandwich - My go-to sandwich. The smoked salmon is not very salty and has an amazing texture. Much cheaper than your average smoked salmon bagel or sandwich for the quality and quantity. BLT - Tried it with Dutch crunch bread, amazing. Lots and lots of bacon (I think around 8-10 pieces) compared to most sandwich places that put in 3-6 pieces (no picture because I forgot and ate it too fast) Creme Brûlée Milk Tea - Sweet and really nice looking, tastes like the name suggests. Red Bean Ice - Very cheap ($4 for a large size $3 for a small) just tastes like milk with condensed milk and red beans. Red Guava soda - Like an upgraded version of a sparkling red guava drink. Strawberry Yogurt - Strawberry flavored yogurt probiotic drink, can't go wrong with it. Avocado smoothie - Just tastes like an avocado smoothie. It’s fresh and creamy. Green Milk Tea - You expect regular green tea with milk from the name but it's actually Thai green milk tea which is the more floral and fruity version of regular green tea. A very niche flavor of tea that is pretty hard to find. Brown sugar milk tea - Surprisingly unique taste, brown sugar milk tea is everywhere nowadays but this one tastes different, very good and a classic. Tropical Fruit Tea - Very strong tea, you can tell they use good quality tea and brew it for a long time. It's so strong it feels drying if you get 50% sweetness or lower but the sweetness and fruit balance out the strong tea very well. Real fruit with a good amount (2-3 slices of apples, 2-3 orange slices, 2 strawberries and 1-2 tablespoons of passion fruit) definitely the best menu item from this place. Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea - Tastes more like Hokkaido milk tea with brown sugar. (win for me since I prefer Hokkaido milk tea over the classic brown sugar milk tea) Boba is warm and slightly more on the soft side. I recommend mixing the boba into your drink to cool it off if you like it more chewy. Mango Soda - An upgraded version of mango sparkling water. It’s fruity and refreshing, can’t go wrong with it. Champagne Milk Tea - I got it iced like everything else but I think it was meant to be a hot drink since the flavors were more mellow and fragrant. Still really good but will definitely be trying this hot and updating this review. Update: The hot version was definitely the way to go. Strawberry Milk Tea - Real strawberries inside. The tea taste isn’t as strong but the flavor is wonderful anyway. One of the best strawberry milk teas I’ve had. Mango Milk Tea - Includes mango chunks in the drink. The mango complements the tea flavor well and the taste is very balanced. The best mango milk tea I’ve had so far. Honey Citron Tea - Got it iced, very nostalgic. Preserved sweet citron pieces at the bottom. Very fragrant and nostalgic. Thai Tea - A little above the average Thai tea but it’s not amazing. Good for someone looking for a solid milk tea at a low price point. Jasmine Green Tea Cheezo - The foam topping is rich and creamy and the tea is strong and fragrant. Most drink sweetness can be adjusted, ranging from 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Their default sweetness is 100%. Looking forward to trying their pudding and other sandwiches soon as well!

During my trip to San Francisco, I was lucky enough to stumble upon this small gem of a cafe/deli. My sister & I were hoping to grab some hot chocolate and bread and this happened to be right near our hotel. We popped in and ordered two hot chocolates - with extra chocolate (add'l $0.50) and a soft roll toasted with butter. YUMMY!! I will be honest, I didn't know what to expect by the look of the shop. It is very small, but incredibly neat, and we could see they offered sandwiches, boba, yogurt, coffee and an assortment of snacks. Not anything you would expect to be blown away by. Well let me tell you, the first time we went by they were closing up but still allowed us in to place our order. The lady was also extremely kind and patient with us while we explained what we wanted. And our order was done perfectly - the cocoa hot & extra chcolately as we wanted & the bread fresh, hot, and perfectly toasted to warm our bellies while we walked the streets of San Francisco freezing because we came from San Antonio where it is 90 - 100 degrees in August. They have the full package - kind & friendly service with quality items being served. Needless to say, we returned a second time for much more bread & 3 brown sugar boba fresh milk teas which were also delicious! I definitely loved this place and would be a regular if I lived in San Francisco. The only downside is they are a cash only business but hey, prices are so fair here, you can't even complain.

The low-star reviews about charge scams are, unfortunately, true. I waited over 20 minutes for an order of just two sandwiches and two drinks, while they served customers who arrived after me. They recommended the Hong Kong milk tea (partly because of its higher price), charged me for it, and then ran out of the drink, with only enough left for one. Instead of being transparent, they let me keep waiting until I finally asked about my order, at which point I was the only customer left in the deli still waiting.

The sandwiches were fine, but the lack of honesty and transparency was very disappointing. I felt the couple running the deli was not straightforward and hid the truth rather than communicating with customers. Will...
