Karahi House — Restaurant in San Francisco

I had really bad experience with them,first I went and ordered chicken biryani it took them about 30 minutes so after 30 minutes wait I they brought me chicken karahi instead chicken beryani any the owner came and asked me what did order I said biryani then it took 10 extra minutes to made chicken beryani so finally I had what I had ordered. Next time I went again and ordered chicken beryani without onions and tomatoes the guys was smiling and he said sorry what was happened last time I said it’s ok don’t worry about it,when he brought me the chicken beryani it was full of onions and tomatoes I have asked him hey I told you no onions and no tomatoes and you said ok but it’s full onions and tomatoes I was like are you ok he ignored and told me did you ordered without onions I said yes then his boss came and asked me the same question did you ordered chicken beryani without onions I said I aknow what I am eating even the waiter knows I am always ordering chicken beryani without onions and tomatoes but he is not listening most of the time. I just had couple bites and left the whole thing on the table just...

The food tasted very authentic and delicious! We had goat butter masala, bindhi masala, lamb kebab., chicken karahi, and lamb karahi. The karahi are truly incredible and authentic.

We've been here multiple times and this is now our favorite Pakistani restaurant in the city. It's not just the food, but the atmosphere. They treat you like welcomed guests. For example, for Ramadan, we were running late for Iftar, But when we got there, they had dates and appetizers ready for us to break fast. Even my non-Muslim guests were welcome to the appetizers to break fast with us. It's this sort of hospitality that keeps us coming back. And if course the food.

Update: We have now come for breakfast too. They do Lahori Breakfast from 10am to 11:30am on weekends. We had the Halwa Puri, Nahari, and a custom item. As a child, I used to eat Chini ka Paratha (2 parathas with sugar in between) for breakfast. I asked if they could do the same...

this place is horrible.We went on a weekend night , it was very crowded, thought that might be a sign that the food is good.It was not!!!.We waited over an hour for our food.Once the food arrived, we started laughing !!!! The biriyani DIDN'T HAVE AN OUNCE OF SALT AND WE COULD SEE THE PINK RAW MEAT scattered around the rice.The nun was COMPLETELY RAW and on top of it they gave us a wrong dish.We patiently waited another 20 mins for the owner to come.In the mean time, people from other table also seemed to be missing their orders or got the wrong order.At this point, we just lost our patience and left after telling the owner about the food.They offered to make it again but after waiting that long, it didn't make any sense to wait more.Long story short, if you want a good experience, DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!
