SF Plants — Local services in San Francisco

If I could give this store more than 5 stars, I would. SF Plants is hands down my favorite plant store in San Francisco. The plants they carry are always amazing and so healthy. The variety of plants are constantly updating based on what they can find on the market. If you have a specific plant you're looking for, they'll make note of it and be on the lookout for it for you. Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to other nurseries in the city.

Aside from the plants themselves, my 5 star review is especially based on their customer service. Dino and Mark are extremely welcoming to every customer and are the most caring people down to the core. They care about customers and provide the best services whether that be helping to pick out a plant based on people's living spaces/lifestyles, tips and tricks on how to care for plants, or even picking out the right pot for you!

I lost my father a couple months ago and he owned a snake plant for over 35 years. It was staying alive but wasn't healthy -- it was drooping over and the roots were coming out of the soil due to leaning so far over. After his passing, I took it to a big plant store (name not to be mentioned) to repot it. It wasn't repotted well and it went into shock and lost a bunch of leaves. I was devastated. I thought it was a goner until Dino and Mark offered to look at it. They took it in for almost 2 weeks and nursed it back to a stable condition. So far, so good. I truly cannot thank Dino and Mark enough for the compassion they have towards plants and their customers.

Dino and Mark are very friendly folks who helped me select plants for my apartment based on my lifestyle requirements, apartment layout, and lighting area arrangements.

They also have an amazing florist for personal home needs to larger scale needs such as corporate and small businesses.

They also designed my office and also my friend's futur bar establishments in San Francisco. Both projects came out lovely. Christmas floral arrangement were also stunning for my dinner center piece, they have an natural eye for interior design with plants as a medium.

I cannot even express what a wonderful experience I had here at SF plants. Coming from NJ, not all the plants in SF are easily available in our local NJ nurseries. SF Plants was a BEAUTIFUL oasis of plant life not far into the Financial District. Honestly, the quality of the plants were excellent and the variety they offered was especially impressive. I was fortunate to have met the owners, Mark and Dino, who had just opened the store in Feb. 2019. I felt so welcomed and so nicely assisted by them and their salesperson, Val. I was able to finally settle on a small monstera deliciosa (have to fly with it home) for only $10. At very reasonable pricing and great quality of plants, if I lived here locally, I'd visit and purchase on the regular! I barely wanted to leave the store but I know I'll be back next...
