Nomu Skewers — Restaurant in San Francisco

Me and wife went to celebrate early wedding anniversary. She surprised me with this. We were greeted by the hostess, whom was very nice and welcomed us in. We were seated and given the menu. Everything looked amazing and they matched as to what we imagined.

Great tastes for all the food we ordered. A few skewers, Hawaiian poke dish, miso Black cod. The flavors were pretty good. Alittle delayed, but nothing that would take away from the great experience we had. The hostess was checking in on us from time to time, which we really appreciated as we were seated upstairs. The staff were very diligent as well. So thank you all as well.

Please give NOMU a try if you haven't, you wone be disappointed. Just give them time and a chance to wow you. For the negative reviews, they need to check themselves. Japanese skewers food style is to enjoy the moments and relax. Not have everything come straight away once you put the order in. Sit, talk, joke, have a sip drink. When the foods comes, continue with what you were doing before.

We will come visit again...

Do not pass this place up!

I was staying next door and just happened to be coming back after a long day of walking. If I'm being honest, I primarily went here for its proximity. That being said, I will probably be making a point to come here whenever I visit in the future.

The Red Dragon Roll was the best roll I've ever had, bar none! There was an amazing sweetness that didn't detract from the tuna that melted in my mouth. The Chawamushi was savory, comforting, and had just the slightest sweetness at the end. Everything was fresh and delicious. The woman who waited on us gave detailed explanations and great recommendations. The atmosphere was calm, comfortable, and welcoming. Everything was amazing.

I don't write reviews... ever. But this restaurant is my favorite find in years and I could not recommend them...

Amazing experience! We reserved a table for our group ahead of time and had a great Mother’s Day dinner there. Loved everything we tried, we had the upstairs all to ourselves. Excellent service and delicious food. Exquisite interior and atmosphere and vibe are inviting and intriguing.

Garlic edamame was excellent, I loved everything we had here, even the matcha IPA. The sushi rolls were perfect, I’m pretty picky about how rolls are made, they made it perfectly balanced, not too much rice and sauces, just the right amount of everything.

Skewers are the best, I got to try shiitake mushrooms, Shishito peppers, scallops, beef asparagus. Must try everything else.

Of course I didn’t even get a chance to take picture of the rolls it looked amazing, It was mouth watering good.
