Rize Up Bakery — Restaurant in San Francisco

Their bread is decent overall but way overpriced and I wouldn't go out of my way to seek them out. Sure they have a political spin to their marketing -who knows what's true or not these days though. Their sourdough baguette could be way better, the sesame hoagie loaf was actually good and freezes well. Still the sesame baguette at Jane on Geary is superior and has way more flavor. These guys have a ways to go and not just quality wise; it would help if they made it to some more farmers markets (i.e. Stonestown on Sundays). Also there are several locally owned delis (Lou's Sandwiches for one) that could use a bread upgrade; hope their sales team reaches out. Both Jane and Arizmendi are several levels above this place but businesses evolve and i hope they improve...

So, I'm French and very picky about my bread, and I have to say Rize Up Bakery is making out of this world delicious breads and baked goods. I find their loaves better than Acme, the crust is perfectly crunchy and inside is the perfect balance of moist, airy and chewy. I have tried 3 different kinds so far and each was perfect. They have a stall at the saturday morning ferry building farmers market, and Thursday afternoon bayview farmers market, both with friendly and helpful staff. Their sesame hoagie is also absolutely fantastic. I buy their loaves, and slice and freeze them as soon as I get home, since I live alone and won't finish them before they harden, and they handle freezing beautifully. Thank you...

I can't speak highly enough of this bakery. Z just delivered 40 OG Biscuits and my office is going crazy over them. Not only did they work with my small time frame but they DELIVERED! Lord knows my days are busy as can be so the fact that they were able to get these to me so quickly was the cherry on top. Z, obviously is adored for his delicious biscuits, but I must mention that his beaming smile and calm demeanor are also heavy contributors!
