A low-key but to me, authentic Korean restaurant. It wasn’t crowded during our mealtime visit. The booth seating offers privacy and is spacious and comfortable. We ordered #14 housemade Jakbal (pig’s trotters) and #19 seafood & green onion pancake. We were pleasantly surprised by the homemade flavors. The seasoning was mild, allowing the food to showcase true aromatic and chewy texture. Paired with dipping sauce and fresh lettuce, it was very refreshing. The seafood pancake had the perfect thinkness and was filled with balanced ingredients. We left feeling ful and satisfied. It’s a relaxed dining environment, and we look forward to coming back to try other dishes. Highly recommend for those who prefer low key, uncrowded but delicious Korean restaurants. Friendly staff and quick services.
There’s a Safeway plaza nearby where you can park if you find a spot. Otherwise, there is a paid parking lot...
Read moreTheir pork bone broth soup is so good!!! If you are a fan of Tonkotsu ramen, you should definitely try this. It has a perfect balance with the chive salad on the side. No other Korean restaurants have this dish and the owner should be proud of this dish. It’s a nostalgic soul food of Korea and it’s really well done!👍 My friends from the Netherlands and I also ordered the pig trotters. It’s so authentic and the collagen of the juicy skins was amazing!!! We also had the buckwheat noodles with the spicy sauce. It’s a vegetarian dish which was a perfect balance with the pig trotters. No wonder those two dishes go together. The seafood pancake, OMG it was so crispy on the outside and the texture of the chopped squid was perfect. The owner was so nice and friendly as well. I truly love love this place and I will try all the other dishes...
Read moreThis place is simply amazing!!! The food is very authentic and cheap for the generous portions. The service is also top-notched as well. I ordered the army stew hotpot (labelled serving size 1-2) for myself and it comes with 5 banchans, a bowl of rice, and a piece of ramen noodles. Later on, the server came to cook the army stew for me and taught me how to properly eat it. She also helped me packed up and bagged the leftover for to-go (there's quite some food left; the serving size can be for 3 in my opinion). To top of everything, the atmosphere is really homey/cute/cozy with good Kpop music. 10/10 recommend and will definitely bring friends here next time!!
Side note: This place doesn't charge the SF mandate, which is very rare now for SF...
