Finally got around to trying this place, after sitting in my bookmarks for some two+ years. Hey, like I said, sandwiches aren't something I really seek out anymore. But, coming about a quarter after noon, I was surprised to find that the line was only about five people long, and that it moved very, very quickly.
A few minutes later, I head out with my spicy pork on wheat sandwich, which was, overall, pretty solid: good flavors, a bit (just a bit) of kick, and filling, with half the sandwich enough to tide me over until dinner.
That said, they're definitely on the pricier side, all around the $10 mark. So, imagine how bummed I was when I woke up the next morning, having blacked out the night before, to find that I had left the other half of the sandwich in the microwave and passed out before I had a chance to eat it :(

Venue - A small shop on the corner, without any noticeable seating. You wait in line on the sidewalk, go up to the counter to order, and walk out with your sandwich. Plenty of space inside the shop, so no real accessibility issues here.

Read moreWow! They put the Deli in DELI-CIOUS! I finally decided to stop by at this wonderful place after passing by it so many times and smelling the enticing food that just tingles the taste bud senses. No regrets!
I order the corn beef sandwich and paired it with a watermelon-lemonade drink (I believe it was called watermade or something like that). The drink itself had fresh watermelon juice and lemon juice. Simple, yet refreshing on a warm day. As for the sandwich itself it comes out fast! Like Jimmy John's can't touch them fast (could be pre-made, but you won't know the difference). The bread was perfectly toasted and the Russian dressing added a good tang to it. The swiss cheese was melted perfectly and the corn beef was tender and flavorful. Kind of like a cuban sandwich. Or as Raj said in Big Bang theory, "Sweety and meaty!" They also provide a slice of pickle and to top it off an Andes mint chocolate!

Read moreThis tiny sandwich spot always intrigued me when I walk to my gym right around the corner and very attempting too for the long line that goes around the block during lunch hour. Today I finally had the time to step in to see what is all the wait is about. To my disappointment, their famous pastrami sandwich was already sold out at 2PM.... So, I went for their Vietnamese BBQ Pork Sandwich. It costs me $10.50.
The end result you might ask? It was surprisingly good! Does it taste authentic? It doesn't. Still, it is a good sandwich on a dark kaiser roll lightly toasted with nice dressing and damn good BBQ pulled pork. It was also a satisfying portion. I saved half for another day.
I am excited to return to try their signature sandwich another time, hoping it will...
