The famous Pied Piper in the Palace Hotel. This is a cozy but large bar that serves decent food (more of a low key bar lounge). The walls and ceiling are beautiful mahogany wood Pretty similar to the Redwood Room at the Clift Hotel. I wouldn’t call it a restaurant tbh but you can get a full meal for sure. The food and drinks (cocktails are $20-24) are wildly expensive but it’s a great place to stop if you are nearby. The Pied Piper painting has some folklore history behind it - it’s a really cool enormous oil painting behind the bar. Service is always excellent and the crowd is always a low key mix of people traveling w some occasional locals. Definitely worth stopping in. Peek around the Palace Hotel lobby as well, the entire building is beautiful with marble and historic...

As soon as I finished my beer, she came back and asked if I wanted another.. we told her no and that we have been waiting 35 minutes for a menu and she replied "oh, I didn't know you guyd wanted to eat". If we didn't want to eat, we would have sat at the bar, not a booth, overall a terrible experience, and we will not be...
