The COVID-19 pandemic completely transformed this business, from a reliable dine-in/out sandwich shop and deli with maybe one shelf of groceries into a fully stocked and thoughtfully curated corner store, with a full liquor (off-site) license. I miss sitting at the tables (now gone) and chatting with the owner. But I can now pick up snacks and sundries, I still get all my favorites to-go (like the chicken-pesto on sourdough, the BLTA on toasted croissant or the delicious salmon sandwich) and I can still chat with the boss. You are greeted with a warm smile, a friendly staff and fresh and delicious food. Another reviewer said it best "this is how deli's used to be." Read moreConvenience store with a deli at the back. The location is small/cramped but overall they had everything we needed. Plenty of choices for drinks, snacks, and wines. The deli smelled amazing so my friend got an Italian sandwich while we were here. Apparently they make breakfast sandwiches all day (The eggs and bacon were making the whole place smell delicious), so I plan on coming back for one of those.
