Posh Bagel — Restaurant in San Francisco

Ordered a bagel sandwich for just over $10 and received the biggest disappointment I’ve had in quiet a while. I am very very generous with my reviews and ratings but this place just rubbed me off the wrong way. The place is very drab and bland and “cold” we ordered the jalapeño cheese bagel with bacon egg and cheese and scallion cream cheese. I think we would have gotten a better product at a gas station or 7-11. The bagel was very bland and barely had the consistency of what a bagel should be. Definitely not made at the store and bought from the cheapest wholesaler. They barely put any cream cheese on the bagel and there was the one saddest piece of bacon I’ve ever seen. I even went up to the guy at the counter and said hey you forgot to put bacon and he pointed it out to me and I said really?? That’s it?? I recently visited Posh Bagel and while it wasn't the best bagel I've ever had, the experience was still enjoyable. The bagels themselves were decent, but could use some improvement in terms of texture and flavor. However, the staff were friendly and the service was prompt.

One thing I appreciated about Posh Bagel was their selection of toppings and spreads. They had a wide variety to choose from and everything looked fresh and delicious. I would have liked to see more options for bagel flavors, but overall, the selection was decent. The atmosphere of the shop was cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating options available.

I stopped in more than I’d like to admit while visiting. Everyone who works here was friendly, the bagels and sandwiches were all great. The deli sandwich combos come with toppings like peppercini, cucumber, and sprouts, and it was so good altogether (I especially loved the turkey). The breakfast sandwiches are served all day and there are a ton of options all across the board. The bagel options were great too, there were your typical plain, everything, Asiago, etc. but there were also some fun ones like chocolate chip, Parmesan & spinach, jalapeño, etc. My favorites were any involving cheese.
