First of all, this is a place you walk to eat or come in by drop-off, uber(taxi), or a bike/scooter that can park by the side as parking is almost non-existent. Ok, now, to the review... Sadly, we made an order to go for our room later before coming but we also wanted to dine in to try their other menu items as that is what we do, Travel and dine. We had just landed from Vegas and wanted to dine in but were told we could not because we had placed an order to go. We did explain that the pizza was for later and that we wanted to dine in first but we were told sorry, nope. We could not eat in because we had placed an order to go already. Talk about weird and rude. If I could have canceled the order believe me I would have done so. So, take note, you can not order to go when you dine in if you want to eat inside, or perhaps the waitress's comprehension was beyond reason that day. Next, when I asked about our order after waiting for almost an hour we were then ignored. If it had not been for the man in charge of the kitchen who noticed we had been standing and waiting past 8 other orders and asked us what we had ordered, We perhaps would still be standing there waiting. Crazy to say the least. Now, I will say the pizza was very good with great flavor and crust(pizza makers know what they are doing), but we would never recommend nor go back due to the horrible service by their waitress. So important and so true on how the hired staff can either help make a business or break it. This place could be so much better if they hired the correct staff because like said the pizza was great but the...
Read moreSo tonight I asked the waitress if the spaghetti and meatballs was good ? She said yes they are. so I said great I will order them, about 10-15 mins later the dish arrived, Will there was 2 meat balls on top of spaghetti with meat sauce. The meat sauce was tasty above average, a little bit heavy on the tomatoe paste but still rich and coated the pasta well. The pasta was average packaged dry pasta which was a shame. The real tragedy was the 2 meat balls, as soon as I cut into the first one I knew something was way way off normal, the meat was a grey colour and the texture was spongy, like a dish sponge. I tasted a piece and it was watery and definitely not a 100 % meatball , the chef has used ALOT of filler maybe breadcrumbs and something like 50% meat if thatand 50%bread , if it was onion , garlic, herbs I would be happy BUT no. the soggy flavourless balls I suspect have also been frozen which would explain when defrosted the breadcrumbs sucked up the all the water, that is my guess. So I left the 2 meatballs and ate the spaghetti and sauce as I was not interested in anything else from this doggy kitchen. When the waitress came to clear my plate with the 1 whole ball and 1 open grey mess, she didn’t ask anything like oh did you not enjoy you meal. So I told her the meatballs were terrible, get this she shrugged her shoulders and said “oh yah “ And walked off, leaving me with the bill. The meal and service...

While the restaurant is small and does a roaring take-away trade we were seated at once. Cristiano, our waiter, explained he was a Brazilian not an Italian, but that he loved Italian food.
My partner has always been a fan of garlic mushrooms and these mushrooms were sautéed in garlic to such an extent that chunks of garlic were visible in the dish. My partner said that the mushrooms were delicious.
I've had ravioli many times before, this filled pasta is popular all over the world, but this was the first time I had seen ravioli fried. Apparently, it is an American adaption of the Italian dish, and a pleasant adaption it is. The marinara dipping sauce was rich with peppery tomato and the ravioli when dipped in oozed with cheese and soaked up the tomato sauce. I had the sense to cut the ravioli, as the cheese inside was piping hot and needed to cool a little before dipping into the sauce.
Instead of one of the pre-selected pizzas, My partner opted for a simple pizza with pepperoni and onion. He was delighted when it came and loved the crispness of the traditional thin crust on which it was served.
As I often do when eating in an Italian pizzeria, I opted for the Calzone, this stuffed pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, salami, ricotta and mozzarella cheese was a wonderful combination of crispy crust, oozing meat and delicious cheese....
