A Tu Gusto — Restaurant in San Juan

Went on wednesday July 3rd, not my first time (my 3rd actually). Food and prices are Great. Atmosphere is excelent. The place was empty with just a family having dinner. But unluckily this time the service was awful. The lady was in a very bad mood. We were a group.... half showed up first, then the other half. We asked if we could put a few tables together and she said: "NO! You had to tell Me Before hand when I asked at the door: How Many?😡" It took forever for her to take the order and serve us. Later on I stood up at the bar to ask for a beer and she treated me like a child saying: "Sit at your table and I'll take your order😡" Her attitude was very very bad. This review aint to to harm the lady, or business, but to owners talk to her about "servicing" and making better money on tips with just a smile. I normally tip a 20-30% in gratitude....I tipped $2 ($30 bill) and she barely deserved $1.

Still....visit the place, food is awesome. Hopefully you get attended by one of the other servers that...

We chose to go to A Tu Gusto, because the kids wanted to eat pizza.. They have placed a board outside their restaurant, that will surely invite all kids :) Fries werent crispy.. it looked like it was frozen, and very soggy.. and no salt... pizza was just like any other cheese pizza.. we actually liked rice and bean (Arroz)... we had to quickly finish food, and leave, but it took them a longgggggg time to deliver the pizza.. and the restaurant was also not heavily crowded !! overall it was an average restaurant for a quick bite... there were many many other options around, but just because of kids wanting pizza we chose this :)

Amazing vibe, and the food was really good. We had pizza, and Alfredo pasta my kids said it was busting..😆 young teens.I really don’t write reviews but, I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area look for a good family place. Our server Mariuxi was great 👍🏽, and her famous mojito are the best I’ve had. 😉 I’m from New Jersey so good pizza I know.
