Bocado Divino is an absolute gem cusine for authentic dominican food! From the moment you walk in into the parking you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere by Joselito that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The highlight of the visit is always the exceptional personal service provided by the owner, Victor. It’s rare to see someone so genuinely invested in ensuring every guest feels special and cared for.
The food? Divine or “divino”, as the name suggests! Each dish is a testament to authentic dominican flavors, expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of heart. The attention to detail, both in the cuisine and service, elevates this restaurant to a league of its own.
If you’re looking for a place where outstanding food meets unparalleled hospitality, Bocado Divino is it. Highly recommend—this place is a must-visit in Puerto Rico! I have been visiting this place since I was a little kid with both my grandparents and it NEVER disappoints. The best “cabrito” and “cochinillo” in the world or how Victor better says it himself “El mejor...
Read moreA friend of mine chose this place. The location is prime, but that’s where it ends. There’s nothing else prime about Boccado’s Divino. The service was interesting, to say the least. The server was very attentive, but pushy at the same time. He continuously mentioned the house specials, but didn’t really afford us the time to look at the menu. It was kind of a weird situation. The food was ok. Just ok!!! My chivito (goat stew) was salty and it had very tough parts. Some parts were also stringy. Nothing special about what I ordered. However, my friends ordered chicken boscaiola & marsala and their plate was way better than mine, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant must put a lot of work to create a better atmosphere. One thing is minimalist decor, but this place was just very minimalist without the decor. I’m pretty sure they can make it look better without a lot of investment. I wish them the best, but I doubt I’ll ever eat from...

I had an unforgettable meal at Boccado’s Divino International Cusine. The Cabrito al Vino Tinto was hands-down the best goat I’ve ever tasted—tender, flavorful, and beautifully balanced with the red wine reduction. The sides of rice and avocado were equally impressive; that avocado was buttery and fresh, a true local delight. I paired it all with a glass of the house wine, which was smooth and complemented the meal perfectly.
The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the owner and staff care deeply about the experience they offer. If you’re visiting San Juan and want to enjoy authentic flavors with a gourmet twist, this place deserves a spot on your itinerary.
Highly recommend for tourists and locals alike—support this...
