Pros: Delicious food

Cons: Service overall

Walked in for a good 20 minutes to have none of the servers notice my existence so I decide to seat myself far away from other diners in the shop. Moments later, a server walked up to me and kept on insisting me that I should seat myself closer to the other diners just to make it more convince for them to deliver my food to me after I order...but the seated area with others are less than 6 feet away from each other...so I wasn't comfortable with this instruction and I kept on telling the server that I don't want to be seated closer. But, without causing a scene, I hesitantly walked over to one of the open seated area to sit down. When I needed to order, I needed to repeat my order 4 times in order for them to understand what I want... So my biggest question is, if there is signs posted around the shop saying "Please Keep 6ft apart" then why are all the diners seated so closely to one another? Is the signs only to remind the servers to their keep 6ft apart from customers or is it implying to everyone in the shop to keep 6ft apart? If it's to implicate it to all people within the shop, then why wasn't I able to seat myself away from other diners to ensure my 6ft distance away from them so I can eat more safely and comfortably?

Edit as of 11/22/24: Service is still horrible. Did a take out over the phone. Walked in and one of the servers did not make a confirmation check with me before I paid them. All they kept on insisting was “pay now!”. And rushed me to hand them the total price of $83 even though I only ordered 3 items. I paid them and walked back in to see that the order was not even mine. I walked in to have this misunderstanding cleared up but to have the server yell at me for screwing their orders up. I watched as the server took out the order and divided it into 4 separate bags to then realized there was another customers’ order mixed in with mine. I asked them to give me my cash back first so I can pay them correctly when my order is sorted. They slapped the money down on the table and basically yelled at me again for not trusting them giving me my $90 back. When the servers finally had it figured out, I asked them if the only take out bag is left on the table was mine, and they said yes, I went in and opened each box to make sure my order was mine. The servers then also gave me a disgusting look and kept saying “if it’s your order pay for it.”. This place is a constant disappointment to me no matter how good the food is and price, the service is not on game at all. Disappointment after...

I like the food here. My favorite is beef stew curry rice noodles. Keep in mind that the beef stew in the Asian culture is different from the west. Here your stew is a bit tough and chewy because tendons and tough parts are served all together. If you are not used to that then you will be extremely disappointed with the way they cook beef stew. The service is OK too. However, read your final bill carefully because you are charged a mandatory 15% service charge in your total. If you pay by card then another bill shows up with an additional column for tips. Then people will be inclined to pay an additional 20% service charge. I find merchants who use this practice a bit deceptive. I've been coming here for years and only now did I discovered their antic. There are a lot of take out orders but I don't know if they use the same tactic on their bill. Parking is a bit crazy during meal times because you have to compete with Safeway and...

This is the best Hong Kong style Cafe in the bay area, period. We've been coming here ever since they opened. They have wide variety of choices, such as steak, baked pork chop rice, lamb chop, ox tail, various fried rice, spaghetti, noodle soup, some pot rice, just to make a few. We've tried at least couple dozens different dishes here and we love every one of them. The waitresses are always friendly and courteous. Service could be slow at times when they are busy. So I won't recommend going there if you are in a rush. Especially some dishes could take over twenty minutes to be ready. This place is unbeatable for the quality of food and the price you pay. We'll be keep coming back. Definitely a 5-star eatery by...
