McDonald's undeniably lives up to its reputation as a provider of affordable burgers. As someone who had never experienced McDonald's before, despite being in my country for over 1,021 days where it was unavailable, my first visit left a lasting impression.
I decided to order their iconic Big Mac, and I was genuinely astounded by the value it offered. The combination of quality and price was exceptional. Furthermore, McDonald's boasted an impressive selection of soft drinks, which was truly fantastic. While the range of flavors could be expanded, the existing options were satisfying.
The atmosphere at McDonald's was undeniably kid-friendly and family-oriented. The presence of a playroom or designated area for children allowed families to enjoy their meals while their little ones engaged in playful activities. Even though I visited with my friends and not with family, the welcoming environment made it an enjoyable place for social gatherings.
The service provided at McDonald's was commendable. Customers had the convenience of ordering either through their smartphones or directly at the counter. The cleanliness of the establishment was noteworthy, with staff actively maintaining a tidy and well-organized environment. Multiple exits, both in the front and back, contributed to the overall ease of access, particularly with regards to parking.
McDonald's delivered on its reputation for providing affordable yet high-quality burgers. The welcoming atmosphere, particularly for families, coupled with efficient service and a well-maintained environment, made my first visit a...
Read moreFor San Marcos being overrun with college students, I didn't really have to wait as long as I had expected. I used curbside mobile pick-up so I didn't have to wait in the drive thru line, though I could have if I chose to pick up my mobile order that way. I highly recommend downloading the McDonald's app on your phone and pre-ordering your food before you even get there. The daily deals are super worth it being that there's plenty to choose from and something for everyone, no doubt. It just streamlines everything, gives you an order history in case you'd like to easily reorder your favorite combo, they come outside to you, and no worrying about remembering your wallet... It stores your card in the app and upon your arrival it gives you the option to officially charge the card. You do not actually pay until you're there and satisfied. If you order and are too lazy to actually go get it or your plans change, you do not need to cancel anything and your card is never charged anything. Not even for cancelation fees. Oh and I can't forget to mention how awesome it is to not have to worry about picking a location for your order! No matter where you are all you have to do is make your selections, confirm the order, and the app automatically sends it to the nearest location! It'll tell you where it was sent and even provides a link to give you directions. If you have a different location preference from the one they automatically sent your order to, you can then effortlessly switch to the location of your choosing. Download the app! You...
Read moreWent tonight and the line in the drive-thru was pretty long, so I decided to go inside. I made my order in the self-service kiosk and went to the window to pay with cash. The employee was very kind to tell me he would open a register. He went to the manager and not only she was very rude and yelled at him in front of everyone that the register was closed and he wasn't allowed to open it but also asked me in a not-so-polite way to go back to the drive-thru emphasizing that the line was long and that I had to wait whatever it took if I wanted to be helped.
I hope the employee reads this. I felt better just leaving because I also wasn't in a good mood and didn't feel like arguing and making things worse for you. But I'm so sorry for what happened tonight. I appreciated that you took the time to help me. I think I saw you looking for me when I was leaving, thank you for worrying if that was the case.
And McDonald's, you should be more careful of who your managers are. I've been in his position many times and it's not fair to be disrespected like that in front of the customers. And as a customer, the least I expect is to be asked like that to go back to the drive-thru just for not bringing a credit card. If I had known that since the beginning believe me I would have just waited in line. I'm not supposed to know when you're taking cash or not and I still get yelled at for...
