Beto's Mexican Food Sandy — Restaurant in Sandy

My husband ordered one burrito in the drive thru, when he pulled around to the window Maria L. Quietly told him the amount. He thought he heard $13 but once she charged the card and gave him his receipt she charged him for four burritos which was $53. He kindly let her know of her mistake, and yet she blamed him since she told him the amount. Which made it challenging for him to understand her with the language barrier. He was trying his hardest to be calm, but Maria L. was extremely RUDE and had a major attitude with him!! She kept talking to him as if it was his fault. It’s the worst feeling when you go to eat your food not knowing if someone had spit into it. They just went very lite on the meat, you’d think for spending $13 on a single burrito they’d give it to you full. All he wanted was a freaking burrito to finish off his 12 hour work day. Maria L. was acting like it was inconvenient for her to get the money returned back to him, and ended up giving him cash back. Extremely Disappointed — Quality Has Gone Downhill

I just picked up a carne asada burrito from Beto’s, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had there. The burrito was full of pellejo (gristle or connective tissue), had hardly any actual meat, and was overly salty. It was supposed to come with pico de gallo, but instead, it was packed with onions — far more than what real pico usually contains. To make matters worse, the burrito was cold.

I called the restaurant to ask what they could do about it, and instead of helping, they immediately got defensive. They left me on hold, then ignored my follow-up calls altogether — no resolution, no accountability.

6.18.25 @555am. I won't even feed this to my dog. I used to live in Albion Village around the corner from here. They used to sell scones and Navajo tacos. So I know this Betos was opened recently. They do not have their Lobby and Drive Thru hours. But they let in a trucker before me. Brown hair person extremely rude from the start for no reason. Should have walked out then. The lady knows what she did. It is extremely rude and disrespectful, disgusting and I am so embarrassed for her. I hope she is not the owner. If the owner reads this.
