Was treated rudely yesterday during my visit. I got rung up wrong at first and was over by $10 or so. I had the cashier correct it. He apologized and gave me the drink free which was appreciated. The price still seemed a little off but it was closer to where it should have been so it was fine with me. I then paid and obviously the tip section is optional so I left $1 which normally I leave more but the service was spotty with all the errors on charging me for sides that are supposed to be included, I know I was being over charged. Either way I still left something. The cashier looked at the receipt with a visibly disgusted face clearly not happy that I had only left a dollar shaking his head right in front of my face. I get that isn't always what you want to see. But having worked in service you cannot expect tips and you definitely cannot be visibly upset with the tip you're left. You never know when someone has cash. I like to tip after my meal when the service is complete. Especially at a place like this where I pay before I get my food. Overall it was unprofessional and I address the cashier and let him know it's unacceptable. To do this in front of my face while with my child was not ok and it ruined my appetite and desire to eat here. The manager on duty did issue a refund supposedly but said it will post later tonight but it hasn't hit my account. I Will remove review once refund is received. Overall I am disappointed because I do enjoy the food here but this the second time I've come here and been treated poorly. And I've only been here twice lol. Hope the customer service issue gets fixed because I do enjoy this place and would love for you guys to change my perspective !
Update: Owner and GM reached out. Refund was given and they were very accommodating in looking into this matter and took steps to remedy the situation. Changing rating to 5 stars based on the follow up as i believe one negative experience doesn’t...
Read moreI really want to like this place, it is decent food. Every, time I go there is a different problem. Either they are out of the food you ordered and paid for, or the app dosent work and the food you orderd online didnt get made, they are open but refuse to serve you...to name a few. I know new places take time to work out the bugs but it dosent seem to be getting better. Each time I order is worse that the previous vist. Ive seen the owner walking around welcoming people but never actually helping when there is a customer service issue. Everyone behind the counter is very young and it takes a while for issues to be resolved. They need more guidance and support. I want to like this place but they need to do better.
Addendum to the owner: Yes being closed is and understandable reason to not serve a customer but it is pretty universal that when you are closed you lock your doors. At the very least you tell customers that you are closed when they walk in. I passed 2 employees on my way to the counter. I stood at the counter while deciding what to order while the cashier made eye contact, stood and waited for me to place my order. However i wasnt informed that the establishment was closed until attempting to place my order. There were customers still in the store, and by the behavior of your 3 employees to not inform me that the estanlishment was closed, it did make the news of not being able to be served that much more dissapointing, inspiring me to post my review. As previously mentioned there were other reasons for me to be diasapointed as well not just this incedent. I stand by what i have already said. Your employees need more training and support by the managment. You...
Read moreDriving by I noticed this deli and decided to stop and grab takeout for dinner. I was impressed with the fast service and friendly staff—definitely a welcoming deli atmosphere. I ordered through the drive up and they brought it out to my car within 5 minutes. I ordered a Club sandwich and a Reuben. Both sandwiches had a good amount of meat, which I appreciated. The Club came on plain wheat bread, which was a bit underwhelming, and while the Reuben had nicely marbled rye, it really needed to be toasted to bring out the flavor and texture. That small change would’ve made a big difference!
Also tried the crab chowder—unfortunately, it wasn’t a hit for me. It had a strong spicy kick and didn’t taste homemade. On the other hand, the Savannah salad was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—definitely the highlight of the meal. Before leaving I realized they forgot my soup, ran in and they upgraded to a bowl instead of a cup.. and threw in a chocolate chip cookie for the mistake. Great cookie!
I’d absolutely come back to try more items. The place has great potential, but please toast the bread—it would take the sandwiches up a notch! Oh and chop up the cucs smaller. Little changes would make...
