As an ice cream lover, how could I have never tried Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream? The concept is cool—liquified ice cream ingredients, blasted with nitrogen to become solid ice cream in front of your eyes. It is definitely a unique process of making ice cream. Don't worry, it's safe to consume! The shop was located inside a strip plaza, among other stores. The inside was clean, ample space with chairs and tables, and a restroom in the back. The wall was decorated with the company's history, scientific ice cream making process, and periodic table (think chemistry) like ingredients. There's a humongous nitrogen tank in the ordering area that supplies the freezing process. The menu consists of Italian Ice, Smoothies, Shakes, Ice Cream Pie, and Ice Cream. You can customize your ice cream by choosing a size, type of cream (original, low fat, custard, etc.), flavors, mix-ins, or choose a Sensation. Sensations are popular flavor/mix-in ice cream that comes with a waffle bowl. They're one size (large) at $5.99, and saves you from choosing flavor/mix-ins that aren’t proven to be popular (subjective to taster). With 12 different Sensations to choose from, we decided on Strawberry Sigma, and Mass Mocha Madness. The entire ice cream making process was cool (no pun intended), seeing the liquid flavor with mix-ins turning into frozen ice cream, by blasting nitrogen gas on it. If you like fruit flavors, definitely recommend the Strawberry Sigma (Flavor: strawberry and vanilla. Mix-in: marshmallow cream, strawberries, and whipped cream on top). It was delicious with the strawberry pieces. I was torn between the Magnetic Mint, and the Mass Mocha Madness, as I love both flavors. I ultimately decided on the Mass Mocha Madness, and don't regret it. I love the mocha/chocolate flavors, with heath candies and almonds mixed in. The Mass Mocha Madness portion was smaller than the Strawberry Sigma; I wish they were consistent as the sizes are the same. I highly recommend trying this place, definitely a unique experience. We had a Groupon (comes in 3 vouchers), and each voucher takes care of one ice cream order (Sensation) up to $7. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

If you haven't been to Sub Zero before, you need to understand this is an experience, not just an ice cream stop. I got the Peanut Butter Bonds with Chocolate flavor instead of Peanut Butter. It was decent. Ultimately, it's just not my style of frozen dessert. My wife and kids thoroughly enjoyed it, and their review was they would come back. My kids liked the process of watching their ice cream be made as much as they enjoyed eating it. Carmen was the lone creator at the store while we were there, and was an ice cream-making machine! I really appreciated Carmen's ability to move through orders quickly while still making it fun for the little kids who stood in awe. My note to the owners is there has to be another person manning the store when things get busy, because there were 14 people ahead of us when we arrived, and we brought a group of 11 with us. I waited 48 minutes to get my ice cream. Had anyone said the word, I would've loaded up and gone somewhere else. Overall, Baskin-Robbins has my heart when it comes to ice cream, but I wouldn't be surprised if my kids convince me to bring them here again in the future.

Anthony seemed as if he wasn't fond of having customers in there. We were just there at 8:00pm on Monday May 30th. We got a Key Lime voltage. Last minute he told us that they were out of cheesecake bites and half heartedly asked if we wanted to change. We then did change and he wasn't really talkative. He told us to pay before our order was done and charged us full price then we asked if the waffle cone was included with the sensational that we ordered then he told us that they were all out. Our ice-cream dish isn't near fill like it usually is and that was a very poor experience. I wish I would of gone to anywhere else. The short and unfriendly staff was eye opening. Edit: I added pictures of the order when I got it. It wasn't a large and it doesn't seem like Graham crackers were added either, just cookie dough.

Don’t waste your time going to this location. Keep driving south to Thanksgiving Point Lehi location. The service and ice cream is much much much better. We drove 30 mins to get a Vegan shake and found out they don’t have Oat Milk at this location because it goes bad too fast. Understandable so we go almond milk. We said the word “shake” probably 3 or 4 times. I got my strawberry shake and it was really like a smoothie. I realized it was a smoothie when I paid for 4 smoothies. I asked the girl working if she was making shakes or smoothies. She said smoothies. I told her we ordered shakes. She said “We can’t make strawberry shakes”. I said the sign says Shakes any flavor. She said again they can’t make strawberry but can make chocolate. Then I said well I need you to remake the 3 smoothies (chocolate) into shakes. They had only made one chocolate smoothie. She said, “We can only remake 2 items unless we call the boss and get permission.” I asked her to call him. She was in the back for 15+ mins. We were then told she tried to call 3x and was texting him and said they could remake them. I told her we just wanted a refund. I actually offered to pay for the 2 smoothies. She then said they can’t give a refund. I asked if she’s ever done that and she said they never give refunds. So I asked to call the boss. More texting. Finally she refunded everything. The girl was super nice and the kid helping was nice too. She has her story and service all mixed up though. They can make any flavor into any shake. The Oat milk cream is WAY better than almond milk. Hopefully the refund really comes through. The girl was super nice but needs training on listening and better customer service. Soon as she messed up if she would have just made the 4 into shakes would have been fine. This whole process was 45 mins. The people behind us in line left the store because of the wait. Again save your time and money. Go to the Lehi location. They have excellent customer service, will make any flavor into anything you want. Regular ice cream, vegan everything!! They even gave me a discount for waiting for a long...

I ordered through the DoorDash app. I paid almost 30 dollars for ice cream. Sub Zero has been offering keto ice cream online AND on instagram. It said it would be about 45-50 minutes.

I waited an hour before my Dasher texted me and she was still waiting on Sub zero. After about five minutes she calls me and they are telling her they don’t even have the base for my ice cream.

I asked to talk to the girl who was literally no help. I told her I was frustrated because my order was already supposed to be DELIVERED by now. And, that it was unacceptable that she had an hour to text me and let me know that she didn’t even have the base. She told me that she didn’t even confirm my order and that my dasher showed up anyways and she never had time to call me or confirm because she had customers. She asked what I wanted to do. I ended up just having her give me double of my sons order because my poor dasher is standing there waiting. She gave me no option to help or figure out a situation. She basically told me that my order wasn’t important.

I told her is was super unprofessional because 1- I am a customer too. I ordered over 20 dollars worth of ice cream and it’s been PAID. 2- I know for a fact it was confirmed because a couple minutes after I ordered? I tried to cancel because it was a lot of money and it said “order has already been confirmed you cannot cancel.”

The service is unacceptable. Your customer service is absolutely lacking. Don’t advertise what you don’t have. And, don’t tell your customers that they aren’t as important the customer standing in front of them. Lost...
