The most disappointing service by young millennials/Gen Z, very smiley, but absent-minded, vacant stare creature. One of them was the daughter of the owner, or so she claimed. They were accepting cash only, and I only had my debit card with a chip, which was not accepted either. I inquired about an ATM nearby and asked if upon my return I could be serviced right away. She said no. I asked for an exception. She said no. I grew impatient, but remained professional and thought to myself "these kids don’t know about CS." I asked for the manager. The kid talked to the other kid. The new kid was alleged to be the manager but also denied my request. At this point, with the long line on hold, a super kind lady offered to pay for my $7.00 shake. I said, “how kind of you! I asked for an exception to get in line right away when I return with cash, but these kids rather hold the long line than make an exception as customer service action”. At which moment, the young kid behind the counter said, with a glimpse of mockery in her eyes and still smiley "I can also refuse service and throw you out!!!!! AND THIS WAS THE OWNER’S DAUGHTER!!! I then thought to myself again "what I’m doing trying to communicate absent-minded, vacant-stare, intelligence-void, snotty, rude, and just plain void of substance creature?" I thanked the kind lady and the creature behind the counter and left. I did treat myself with a healthy yogurt from another venue and enjoyed MONO Mundo dances. I DO NOT RECOMEND...
Read moreTwo girls were sitting on the counter, throwing money at each other. Ignoring all the customers running back-and-forth, one name was Ashley.. with purple and blue hair like a guy. Horrible service absolutely horrible.. coming from someone with experience... This is so humiliating… maybe the owners should pay more attention to the people serving their ice cream. I would be so embarrassed if I was the owner of this company or franchise. To have two girls sitting on the counter with their phones about to fall out throwing money on each other like a strip club. Total embarrassment to your place.
I watched over 20 people walk in and then ignore them and walk out. Absolutely horrible. Watch your cameras.
I have 2 young girls and that was not what I would want them to think that’s what work is. That was so embarrassing for them to see. I hope this reaches the right people. I should had taken a video. But I’m sure you can go in today and see it...
Read moreWow… Poor staff cleanliness!! The ice cream is alright, though not as good as Baskin Robbins. The staff were nice enough but way too casual/unprofessional, unthankful for their customers, and… did not demonstrate basic restaurant cleanliness!!! The young man who served our ice cream then saw some friends wander in and shook several of their hands, some at great length and with much fanfare and lots of different “touches”. He went right back to serving without washing his hands. No one was wearing any sort of gloves while handling cones etc. I’d say the manager and owner were AWOL, completely disconnected from this poorly run franchisee, leaving their young staff are utterly untrained. DEFINITELY would NOT return. We found a Baskin Robbins another night and the staff - just as young - were polite, thankful, and professional. What a difference a little management makes… Haagen Dazs should be embarrassed and pull the plug...
