Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Santa Fe

If you're vegetarian probably not the place you want to go. However with that said there are a few vegetarian options you can get an egg and cheese sandwich just minus the sausage or ham. You can also get tots with cheese or fries with cheese. They're chilly though if it's red has meat. They're green is good. When I was a meat eater I used to like getting the number one with green chili that's always a good one just basic and classic and I would add jalapenos with that cuz I like as much spiciness is I could get. Either way it's good quick fast and open late. Their shakes and slushies are pretty good and if you go during happy hour you get them half off if you have the app awesome you get coupons and I think if you order through the app at the moment you get the happy hour at any time. Something to think about if you need to cool off from this heat. With that said there is a bit of a homeless problem but right now where isn't there. They don't seem to tell them to go though I literally saw people shooting up right in front of me in the bushes it was a little crazy didn't appreciate that but what can you do right? I know I'm not going to confirm them and the employees probably won't either for safety reasons and can we really blame them for that? They don't seem to bother you though if you're eating there they don't seem to bother you for money or harass you as long as you leave them alone. So in the end that's all that matters right? This place is absolutely horrible. The team members here are so rude. You push the red button and no one answers it for 20 minutes plus. Mind you they Have Orange cones Blocking more than half the car stalls. So you try to drive-through the drive-through and you wait for another 20 minutes plus. And when They decide to answer. They treat you like not a paying customer. But someone who's bugging and bothering them. I don't understand how employees are allowed to treat their customers so poorly. we're the ones putting food on your table. If it wasn't for us the consumers. We are the ones keeping those checks coming. I get it a 100% it's a hard time for everybody everybody's going through it. But people are very kind and forgiving if you just treat them with a little bit of respect. it's all about the delivery. And at the end of the day kindness is free it don't...

I will not be returning to this specific Sonic. I got similar things as I had at other Sonic's, but this one is especially bad. In other Sonic's in town, I got the jumbo popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks, and corn dogs. From the picture of the popcorn chicken, it looks like we only got a few, but we got much more than shown in the picture. However, it didn't make up for how gross the chicken was. It was pretty dry and not enjoyable. The shake was good, but the same cannot be said for everything else we got. We also got a corn dog, and a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was a waste of money, being both tiny and disgusting. The batter on the corn dog was still wet and uncooked. The person taking our order was not very friendly, either.
