This is hands down the best bakery I've been to anywhere in the world. The croissants and UNREAL! The lamination is gorgeous, they have lovely flaky outer layers, but the inside is so soft and buttery. This croissant is straight up better than any croissant I've had in Paris. I've already introduced a bunch of friends to the B&B croissants and everyone agrees that they're incredible.
But that's not all this bakery does. I'm in the middle of a mission to try everything on the menu - and yes the specific menu changes every day. I had one morning bun weeks ago and I haven't stopped thinking about it. The sweet Danish? Fire. The breakfast bun? While not a laminated dough, still fantastic! The coconut cake? A heavy but not too sweet delicacy that will fill you up. The only thing I've had that I wouldn't get again is the cherry bomb, but that's a me flavor preference. It's still a well constructed goodie.
But the other absolute star of the show? THE FREAKING SANDWICHES. Good golly Almighty are those things good! While I could get on my high horse about the crust not being overly crusty on their baguettes, the reality is that the bread is delicious and I'm not destroying my mouth for a sandwich. All the flavor combos are simple but so so good. Grab a sandi and hit the sand - trust.
I can't praise this bakery enough, and you should definitely check it out, but also if you don't I'm (selfishly) happy to keep it an approachable...
Read moreOmg—this place is incredible! I stopped by to try one pastry after hearing multiple neighbors rave about it… and walked out with four. I guess I’m a glutton now? I did share them with a few neighbors (which felt generous), but honestly, I could’ve easily eaten them all if I had zero self-control.
The staff is genuinely kind, and the pricing feels fair for the quality—maybe a bit steep to some at first glance, but 100% worth it. You’re getting premium pastries and then some.
I love how the space is set up—easy to order, with outdoor tables that make it feel relaxed and welcoming. I got there around 9am and there were about five people in line. By the time I ordered, the line had grown to 10 or 15, so go early if you can… but it’s worth the wait either way. The morning buns were still warm when I got mine, which made them even more irresistible.
Favorites? The walnut croissant and morning bun were next level—but truly, everything I tried was delicious. I’ll...
Read moreThinking 2 steps ahead, I placed my pre-order online early morning around the opening time to secure my Walnut Croissant.
Yes, you heard it right, walnut. Prolly kinda uncommon, but it’s indeed one of their signature pastries, which was the closest comparison to any other places’ almond croissant.
Located right by the street, sitting at the patio gave that people-watching experience with sun kiss.
I arrived right at noon, which was also my pickup time, and their pastries showcase was almost empty and there’s literally no single croissant left. LOL, even the servers told me I made smart move by pre-ordering. I finished my gigantic croissant on the spot. It wasn’t reheated yet it’s still so good. The price was prolly quite high being close to $10, but the size and how packed the walnut paste stuffing was, made it totally worthy. That crunchy layer on top was doubtlessly slapping, like literally fully covered...
