Oggi's — Restaurant in Santee

This place is below average. We visited, this Sunday. We walked in, promptly greeted. The place was busy, so I quickly ordered drinks and appetizers. The hummus was bland, the pita chips are some of the best I have eaten. I ordered quickly, anticipating a long wait, our waitress seemed bothered/inattentive. We were waiting a while to have our pizza order taken. Our waitress kept walking by and not noticing my coke needed to be refilled. I asked "Ms. Can I please have a refill?". The response was lame, picked up my cup refilled it, a place it on the table, not a word nor a smile. Next had to ask our waitress to take my pizza order. The pizza came out, it looked like it was made by a student chef. Tasted bland, I asked our waitress for some oregano and garlic salt. In the meantime, I used the restroom, I can compare it to a bad gas station restroom, the urinal had a plastic bag over it, it probably takes longer to have an employee cover it than what it takes to call a plumber. My pizza was served soon after but lacked flavor. I asked our waitress for some oregano and garlic salt. Same reaction, uninterested. She walked towards the kitchen, She never returned. She ended her shift with no courtesy turnover(I asked a random staff member). The staff that took over our table, never bothered to tell us they took over. I thought it was only our waitress that was having a bad day, no difference, the replacement was equally bad. At this point, I started to ask everyone, for refills, oregano, garlic salt. Munched my pizza and drank my soda. Paid, Zero Tip, Exited Oggi's. Final insult from Oggi's was that I was outside door was closing behind me, when I heard a "Thank you!", I don't even think it was for me, a bit too late. I...

My last visit completely changed my opinion of Oggi' s. I have never been a fan. I think that I've been ordering the wrong things!

Came here last night for dinner. We sat at a bar table surrounded by 70,000 tv's playing every sporting event or channel that exist. Our server, Sarah, was super chopper and friendly. We concluded that she and I attended the same high school many many years ago, just a year apart. I knew she looked familiar.

My boyfriend and I had an agreement. He LOVES the field goal pizza and is super sad that it is no longer on the menu, so we agreed that our first question would be if he can get one, if the answer was yes then we would stay and eat... Sarah didn't say yes, she said 'Of course you can!' Winner winner chicken dinner. So Jay got the pizza, I decided on the sliders, which were surprisingly scrumptious with those onion strings... Mm Mm Mmmmmm.

To drink to drink I got some vodka raspberry lemonade that was delightfully good, and he decided on a Stone beer of some kind.
