Patellini's Pizza: Through Grub Hub

During our stay in Sarasota, we decided to order some pizza to the hotel room as we settled in.

We ordered online through the Palletini website that was associated with Grub Hub.

At first we had trouble locating a Pepperoni pizza, but finally figured out we could do a Cheese pizza and Add Pepperonis (+$1.75), so that is what we did.

We ordered that, 2 garlic knots, Baked Ziti Pasta, and extra marinara ($.75) and ranch ($.75).

Upon completing the order, we were informed that it would be 30-45 minutes and the driver would contact us on the way.

After 40 minutes we got a call from the front lobby that our food was dropped off in the lobby, no notification from the driver.

Once I got the food up to the room, we realized that the extra $1.50 in sauces had not been included. We also did not receive a pepperoni pizza like we had ordered, and the garlic knots were hard and cold.

The best part of the meal was the Baked Ziti which was pretty basic.

I would give this place another try, but unfortunately cannot give it anywhere close...

I hate to do this.. I really do!! This has been my go to place since I moved here. But, while the man on the phone was pleasant and the delivery driver very sweet, the experience over all was terrible.

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza a "large" Antipasto salad. I asked that the pizza be well done. Didn't happen. Very little sauce and almost no toppings.

The salad was wilted iceberg lettuce with bits of what looked like lunch meat and a few canned olive pieces, a couple Carrot pieces and (lol) ONE.... I'm not joking.... ONE cucumber slice. So random. It was "large" enough for two small salad plates, although we didn't eat it. Wilted lettuce is pretty unappetizing.

The pizza was cold. With an hour and a half delivery time, I wasn't surprised.

The driver, bless his heart was wandering around on foot at the end of my block and I was able to call out to him. Poor guy (I still tipped. Not his fault).

I'm thinking they must have changed ownership, but this will be the last time I order from this...

This establishment offers exceptional, authentic New York-style pizza. My spouse and I consistently frequent this restaurant during visits to Sarasota, consistently experiencing phenomenal pizza. The menu also features delectable lasagna, providing a satisfying vegetarian entrée for individuals who are on a meatless diet. The pizza sauce and the mariana sauce they put in the lasagna is delicious. The sauces they use contribute to very flavorful entrées. Furthermore, a diverse selection of menu items, including sub sandwiches, is available. The portion sizes are very generous. The pizza options include both individual slices and customizable pies. Our experiences have consistently yielded positive results. The restaurant provides a comfortable atmosphere enhanced by flat-screen televisions. The staff is known for their friendly and hospitable service. This establishment offers a casual dining experience and a convenient carryout menu. We highly recommend this restaurant for those seeking delicious...
