The Mermaid House Cafe & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Satellite Beach

This is exactly the kind of place we've been needing beach side! It has everything. Classy atmosphere, music focused, and highest quality in all their food and drinks!

My wife and I just went tonight for our anniversary and we had such a blast. Char Good played and as always, she was phenomenal! Service was top notch even though the place was completely packed, but we felt like vips chatting it up with the owners who were right there in the middle of everything making sure everyone was having a great time.

We ordered several drinks, and I was so impressed at how solid the cocktails were considering they don't have a full liquor license. We tried their signature drink, Mermaid Water, the Watermelon Spritz, and the Espresso Martini. I was particularly impressed by the latter considering a traditional one has so much liquor in it. Their version was fantastic! It was very apparent that every single drink was made with fresh ingredients. I could taste little bits of actual watermelon in the spritz!

The food did not disappoint either! We had the shrimp ceviche, the mushroom flatbread, and the buratta salad. I can't express enough how high quality this all was. Really impressive, and not surprising after seeing how fresh the ingredients for the drinks were. They obviously went all in as far as quality ingredients go which really adds to the overall experience. So many places these days cut corners, but that is not the case here.

I'm so excited The Mermaid House has opened up here at the end of Eau Gallie! We really needed a high quality music focused venue near the beach, and from what I hear, it will be very jazz focused. Please do yourself a favor and check it out. If nothing else, it's a fantastic place to bring a date!

The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor. You can tell the chefs take pride in their work.

The Mermaid House has a fun nautical, mermaid-inspired vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an undersea hideaway. It’s the perfect place to relax, catch some great local music, and soak up the unique atmosphere.

It’s definitely on its way to becoming a destination-location for live music in the Melbourne area. When we were there, we enjoyed amazing entertainment, a great glass of wine, and some seriously tasty flatbreads.
