Larry's Giant Subs — Restaurant in Savannah

This is the second time that I have eaten here recently. Service is fast and the restaurant is clean, however the food is absolutely tasteless.

The first time I ordered a hot sub with three different types of meat, it was completely tasteless to the point I thought I might have covid, I knew I didn’t, as the drink tasted fine as well as the chips.

Today, a couple weeks later, I go back and get a Turkey combo and it doesn’t have any taste, either. Even the olives, honey mustard and pickles which you would assume would have taste, don’t.

My root beer and chips taste fine though, confirming that it’s just the sub and ingredients that are tasteless.

The two stars are for the speed of service, the cleanliness of the restaurant. The food I’ll give two stars, as even though it’s absolutely tasteless (and I never eat spicy food and can’t even taste the meat at all) it gets an overall two stars.

I couldn’t recommend it. There are other sub shops nearby which I’ve eaten at where you can actually taste what you order as there’s actually flavor vs...

I've been to this location before and found their food lacking in quality. Recently, my partner and I were looking for another option because Midtown Deli was closed and I decided to give Larry's another shot. Big mistake. First sign of trouble was the older cashier seeming very disinterested in being there and was ready to get us out of her hair. When we got our food, we found that they got BOTH of our orders wrong, with me missing an entire half sandwich and my fiance getting toppings that they asked to not have on it. The taste for both of our sandwiches was, as my partner described it: "painfully mediocre." The only thing that was good about Larry's was that their store was at least clean. I don't think I'll give this store another chance as it seems they have a lot to learn from their competitors. I'd recommend anyone shopping their options to make the trip to Publix and hit up their deli for subs. They taste better, are lower price, and the employees actually LISTEN to what...

I recently moved to Savannah from Charleston and the Larry's there was always so awesome. I wish I could say the same for this place.

I can't go out and interact with people in the sub shop due to the virus, so I order very frequently for it to be delivered via Uber Eats. At least, I try to.

They are almost always out of something. And today, I have had to wait two and a half hours for my food. Unbelievable. The woman who I spoke to on the phone was rude and did not tell me what was going on. She told me the person who was delivering my food "just left" and 45 minutes later, still nothing. I call again and speak to I am assuming the same woman because as soon as I told her who I was, she literally just left the phone and did not tell me she was getting someone else. I figured she had hung up on me.

I'm still waiting as I write this. This particular Larry's food is not worth all the issues I've had with them and I will no longer be doing...
