⚜️8/29- 8/31/2025: ROOM 129 KING BED⚜️ 🔹️This was our 3rd stay and the first booking of 2 consecutive nights, therefore, we brought our OWN microwave 😁Via my pic you can see how it easily fit above the fridge with absolutely ZERO complications!! 🔹️It would be great not to have to bring my microwave in the future as it is heavy BUT I will if I have to 😒 🔹️We were told we could check in early 130pm to be exact, but the room was not ready when we arrived at that time and were told we had to wait until 3pm 🔹️Therefore, we sat in our vehicle to wait as we just drove from Bonaire GA, I went back inside to get coffee and thankfully was told the room should be ready at 230, so to Thank SANDI the housekeeper for cleaning our room so speedily, we tipped her, she is EXTREMELY kind and the room was SPOTLESS♥️ 🔹️You can TEXT the front desk now; My text convo with Kevin regarding guests above us stomping on the floor continuously was 10/10 as he responds promptly and is very kind and professional; Shanika never responded to my question! (SEE MY PICS) 🔹️Lastly, the shower had ZERO pressure and would only get just warm, NO HOT WATER! ------------------------------------------------ ⚜️BOOKING 3/9/2024⚜️ 🔹️We booked our King Bedroom via the website effortlessly 🔹️The app will send you a notification when it is time for you to digitally check-in: ⚜️EXTERIOR⚜️ 🔹️There is a sufficient amount of FREE parking spots in the front only (We felt super safe leaving our vehicle in a spot where we could not see it from our room) ⚜️INTERIOR⚜️ 🔹️Hotel is decorated beautifully and super clean 🔹️Front desk clerks at check-In, check-Out, and on the midnight shift were exceptionally nice♥️ 🔹️There are luggage carts at the entrance, which we totally appreciated; However, they are made specifically for luggage only, not back packs/bags and such, as they fall straight through the bottom openings 😞 🔹️NO problem using our keys to enter the room or the building 🔹️The elevator was slow but clean each time we entered ⚜️ROOM 212 KING BED 3/9/24⚜️ 🔹️Upon entering our room we did a complete inspection and only found 3 long hairs 🤢(On the couch, the sink, and in the shower) which is not bad compared to what we have found in other places as world travelers) But there actually should not be ANY! 🔹️Bedding was pretty and clean, well the outer parts were, as we NEVER pull back the comforter, we always bring our own sheets, comforter, and pillows and lay ours atop of theirs 🔹️Bed was not super soft nor super hard, wasn't just right, just OK 🔹️NO coffee maker in the room (There was some in the lobby) 🔹️NO microwave so later that night, we chose to eat cold leftovers vs going to the lobby to see if one was there 🔹️There is a mini fridge, but no freezer 🔹️Hardwood floors were very clean 🔹️Air/heat is controlled via a wall thermostat and is absolutely FANTASTIC♥️Puts out cold or heat extremely FAST which totally ROCKS💃😀 We were SO comfy sleeping ♥️ 🔹️We had ZERO issues with noise on the 2nd floor, thus got a great night's sleep😴And we were one room from the elevator with minimal noise from it 🔹️Complimentary breakfast included: Scrambled eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, Oatmeal, Bagels, Bananas and Oranges; We chose eggs (tasteless), bacon (salty) and pancakes (machine made, small but thick enough to choke you) We will opt out next time🚫🙄 🌟Our FAV part of the room was the Black-out curtain😁We also love the colors on the wall, VERY pretty ♥️ ⚜️CONCLUSION⚜️ 🔹️Housekeeping did a great job, we give room cleanliness 8/10 🔹️At Check-in we received a complimentary Member bag which included a tiny bag of popcorn and 2 bottles of water, yet we were a party of 2 🤐 👉🏽It would be extremely nice and considerate if more snacks are added to the bags to show your appreciation to members who drive MILES to your establishment and may simply be to exhausted to go out for food 🎉Despite the aforementioned issues, we 100% Recommend this establishment w/o hesitation🎊

My husband and I wanted a pet-friendly hotel. But we had a hard time finding a nice hotel at a decent price because the Expedia app was overpriced and the prices online were crazy. We walked into this hotel and they gave us an EXTREMELY fair price for 2 nights. Especially considering what we get with the room. There is amazing snack/alcohol choices in the lobby. They are pet-friendly with complimentary snacks for the doggos (: they even provide a list of pet friendly restaurants upfront!!! The room was full of clean towels. Clean bedding. AC worked great. Again; I loved the snack options upfront. They have some good ones! Lol not only that but they have an outside seating area, complimentary breakfast (which was good) the front desk workers are nice. And helpful. Housekeeping was very nice and courteous. EVERYTHING here is CLEAN!!! Which I love. The bathroom is very nice. The soap and lotion dispensers in the bathroom are unique and it’s truly the “little things” that matter to me. I love the soap and lotion dispensers! Lol all the furniture is modern. I’m extremely happy with our choice. They even provide board games in the lobby for you to sit and play with your family. They also have a gym!!! Andddd pool table! I could go on and on. 10\10 you will not make a mistake or regret booking here. Do it!!! (:

First time trying the Hilton Tru brand and I was not impressed. The room is very small. The refrigerator is very small. There is no microwave and dresser. On the pros, they use the bulk style soap and shampoo, and shower stall. There is a free pool table in the lobby. Crazy thing happened at the front desk when I mentioned the dresser MIA, he said we cater to a younger crowd which is the exact wrong thing to say to a 60 YO. Needless to say, I am staying at Holiday Inn this week. The rest of the staff was normal and nice.

First time trying the Hilton Tru brand and I was not impressed. The room is very small. The refrigerator is very small. There is no microwave and dresser. On the pros, they use the bulk style soap and shampoo, and shower stall. There is a free pool table in the lobby. Crazy thing happened at the front desk when I mentioned the dresser MIA, he said we cater to a younger crowd which is the exact wrong thing to say to a 60 YO. Needless to say, I am staying at Holiday Inn this week. The rest of the staff was normal and nice.

Tru Hotel Management

I wanted to reach out to you to tell you about my experience here at the Savannah Midtown location, since this is the first stop along many on a trip around the nation. Our next stop Auburn, GA before spending a month New Orleans, LA. Imagine how many stays have to be booked for a twelve month adventure through the US and Canada.

The hotel is super cute and colorful, super inviting and what we later realized to be maskingly clean. (See Pictures) We went upstairs to our room to find that our room hadn’t been fully serviced, -both rolls of toilet paper had been half-used, -there were a TON of towels and no wash cloths, the shower didn’t seem like it had been cleaned, judging from the stains around the base, -and the toilet had what looked like to be black mold inside and green mold around the flush button.

Furthermore, the bed was half made. Whatever the top piece is that feels like a napkin was falling off the entire bed. Then there is something underneath it that I KNOW you don’t wash after every guest and then the sheets. It is so uncomfortable, it’s unbelievable . The room otherwise is very functional with the hooks, mini fridge, desk, etc.

When called downstairs for the toilet paper, we waited for at least an hour in middle of us working, in and out of meetings. When we then realized that we also need wash cloths and called down for those, the lady at the front told us that WE would have to come down for it. After calling three times she finally came up, right as I was walking out the door. My girlfriend who had walked by her previously said she wasn’t even at the front desk. She was sitting on the side on her phone. 11/02 7pm ish.

I called downstairs to see if there was an extra desk and chair that could be brought up to the room because when I went downstairs to work, the workers were having a loud conversation across the room from each other (front desk and dining) that I couldn’t concentrate nor meet with my clients. We waited for that desk for 3 hours. We called about the desk twice and went downstairs about it as well.

Lastly one night we decided to go downstairs with our dog to get some coffee because it was cold. While making coffee, the cup accidentally turned over, spilling hot coffee on my shoe, my hand, the floor and a little splashed on the dog. It was also of course on the counter and down the front of the cabinet. The lady at the front desk (same lady) looked over, didn’t ask if we were ok or if we needed help. She proceeded on her phone while me and my girlfriend cleaned it all up with napkins. Not once were we offered a mop.

It’s a shame that the stay couldn’t have been better, as I said, the place is cute and convenient but not with the mold and the weird sheets and poor service. Hopefully this will assist in making some necessary changes to make the stay better for...

BEDBUGS BEWARE there are BEDBUGS here. We booked a room here for VALENTINE'S DAY and discovered LIVE BEDBUGS in our room.

I was expecting a lovely weekend getaway in Savannah, GA to celebrate Valentine's day with my partner. What I didn't expect was this hotel's infestation of bedbugs that wanted to share their love with us on Valentine's day...

On Valentine's day evening, my partner and I were cuddling on the bed when I saw a living bedbug crawling up the headboard of the hotel bed. I am a biologist. I identify bugs for a living!!! When I saw the bug I IMMEDIATELY knew what it was. I crushed it with a tissue and there was BLOOD inside. This was a very large bedbug, at least 1cm in size. I didn't think bedbugs could get that big but it had already been feeding on who knows because it was filled with dark blood... I looked around the bed some more and found ANOTHER LIVING BEDBUG. It was the same size as the other one.

We informed the front desk of what was happening. All the guy did was move us to a different room. I'm a biologist, but you don't need to be a biologist to understand how bedbugs work. If one room is infested, THEY'RE ALL INFESTED!!!

I did not feel comfortable sleeping in a different room at all. I wanted to go to a different hotel but it was almost midnight so we moved to a different floor.

The next day, we talked to a different employee at the front desk.

The employees there were completely UNSYMPATHETIC. She said she had "been briefed on the situation" but there was nothing she could do. Her tone was very rude and she offered no assistance whatsoever. She did not care that we had bedbugs, and stated that the manager would not be in until MONDAY. How convenient that we would be checked out by then? She did not record the incident despite our requests. She told us to talk to the online chat bot.

We asked if we would be reimbursed for having to burn our clothes. They did not give an answer, and told us to talk to the [non-existent] manager.

On top of this ordeal, we did not get any sleep for the amount of time we were there.

The hotel does not mention this, but there is a NIGHTCLUB directly behind it. The nightclub plays extremely loud music until at least 2am in the morning. You can hear the music and people screaming in the parking lot below from the 4th floor. Do not plan on getting a good night of rest here.

This is the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. It's more of a motel than a hotel. I think we would've been better off staying at the "Econolodge" down the street.

I will NEVER be staying at a Hilton Hotel again. Worst...
