Studio 6 Savannah, GA — Hotel in Savannah

Worst hotel ever. Cockroaches, not clean, unsanitary. The elevator smells like urine. Brown things are dripping on the walls. No bathroom tissu left (when I went down to ask for 2 rolls , one to use now and the other one in extra, the lady told me she could only give me one! So I bough myself some!) They won’t take out the trash even if you put your bin out. There’s no services at all. The bedsheets had some stains and one of the towel look like it hadn’t been wash. The shower was so bad with dripping brown marks and the shower curtain had some mold on it, so bad that I couldn’t take one. DISGUSTING! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN. I would give a minus 10 stars if I could.||||I had to go buy cleaning products to clean the room as best has I could (bought disinfecting wipes, disinfect and wash everything I could, bought a broom, glass cleaner, scrubbing bubbles for the shower I did 5 treatment and it was still dirty, I had to buy a bath mat to step on and a swifter wet jet for the floor, I use two wet clothes and they were black! The proof they did not clean at all!. After all that, woke up with 2 big cockroaches beside my head even thought I left all the lights open 24/7 because I though that with lights the cockroaches I saw the first day wouldn’t come, but no, they still were everywhere!||||Couldn’t stay there for a month like I was supposed too, it was way too unsanitary for a human being plus because I have a heart disease so I can not afford to put my health in jeopardy like that.||||The manager Mr, Vishal, literally FRAUD me of 1761,33$ cause my reservation was supposed to cost me 557,42$ but he took out 2318,21$ of my credit card and does not want to give me back the extra money he owes me and took from me ! Add to take legal steps now with the police, bank and such, to try and get the money he illegally took from me!||||So take my advice if you don’t wanna be fraud on your credit card and live with cockroaches in an unsanitary, unclean, dirty and pee smelling place, don’t come here! I’ve been in cheap hotels before, but never like this one. Plus they are ripping people off, so, be warned.. I’m living a nightmare right now! ||||Never in my life I’ve seen a place like this, and had no service and had to deal with dishonest people in management.||||The only friendly and helping girl I saw, was the black girl in the evening shift at the front desk. I had no problem with her. She was always helpful and friendly, like people in the customer service should be. It’s not her fault that she works in a trash place. But besides her, well you know the rest! Good luck to you if you book here ! Say Hello to a never ending nightmare...

Review. ||So, let me tell you about this absolute dumpster fire of an experience. ||I am having to come down to Savannah every week currently due to my mother being in the hospital, so already not an ideal situation. |Because of this I have to leave after work and show up late Sunday night at what ever hotel I stay at. |This has never been a problem, but just in case I always call the hotel and make sure they know. ||I called, told them exactly when I would be arriving, and this hotel assured me it would be ok. They would leave me a key with security. ||Well, I arrived and followed the instructions they had left for me and apparently the front desk person “forgot” to leave my key with security. ||Security guy was nice but said that happens a lot. He told me that they owned a second hotel, another Motel 6, and that I would be able to stay there for the night. ||Not ideal, but I just wanted to rest before being at the hospital all day the following day with my mom. ||Showed up at the second hotel and was informed they were|indeed owned by the same people but could not see my reservation there so I’d have to pay for the night. ||The front desk person was nice and I kept my cool. It wasn’t her fault, but I was five seconds from going apocalyptic on someone. ||I paid for the night, figured I would fight the other hotel in the morning, and just went to the room. ||Quick detour— the room they gave me was absolute nightmare fuel. Sticky floors and walls, a weird smell, a hole in the wall in the bathroom, dirty sheets and lots of roaches. I slept in my clothes on top of the blankets and left as soon as it was light. ||Anyway, I had booked with Expedia and contacted them about the refund. Well the hotel refused to give me a refund for the night. When I called the property about it they got attitude with me and told me that they can’t refund me because I booked through Expedia and it was up to Expedia. Well that is crap because Expedia contacted them and it was the hotel that refused to refund the night because I didn’t show up for check in. ||Do NOT book here. Also, if this property is anything like their second property— I’m sure it’s filthy. Save yourself a lot of grief. ||I ended up at a Sonesta 20 minutes away that was so much better...

Okay, where do I start? First of all, I do NOT recommend this location to ANYONE! This location is NOT a place I would want to take my family. I booked my room via Booking.com and booked at a rate of $211 and some change. When I check in, they charge me $242 instead of honoring my BOOKING PRICE. when I brought this up to his, the manager was like “it’s taxes”. Strike one. Don’t try to STEAL my money bc you may get over on your “tenants” but you can’t get over on me. Secondly, when we went to check out the room …. We noticed several ppl / families were LIVING in this establishment. This extended stay turned into an apartment complex. Tenants had their doors wide open and you can see all the hoarding in rooms, LED strip lights in the rooms, kids running and wandering around unattended. Now once we entered the room, that’s where the real issues truly too in.

He had the audacity to put us on the 3rd floor with an infant toddler. (Just imagine that parents) The room was beyond hot, air wasn’t even on (when most hotels keep their air conditioning on 76.), the top blanket looked like it had a blood stain on it, the smoke detector was beeping continuously, nobody even bothered to change the batteries Bc I’m sure they heard it as they were “cleaning” the room. Also, the cabinet drawers were visibly broken, the towels were BEYOND disgusting, their was dirty towels in the closet…everything looked beyond horrible. Immediately I called and stated I wanted a refund…the manager says “no, I give you better room!” Lol THERE WAS NO BETTER ROOMS! This studio 6 was by far the WORST. The location was horrible, the upkeep of the building shows you exactly how they are running the property. It’s beyond just ghetto. Ran into a woman who flew in from the Bahamas and immediately told her to find another place. (She was getting her grandkids) we dang near hit two kids exiting the property bc they were running across the highway into the studio 6 property. Do...
