BEWARE!!!! If you are in the 200’s sections: have fun with BUGS!! that’s right. The building we (most of my family) stayed in (500’s) was mediocre with no bugs but i’ll come back to that. The section my cousin and her bf stayed in (building next to us, 200 something room was INFESTED with ROACHES, WATER BUGS, AND FLEAS. the manager (woman idk her name) was s RUDE about it and wouldn’t help us so we inadvertently got upset LOUDLY in the lobby in front of 3 other guests who were checking in but ended up canceling and leaving. after that they told us they were booked up and would not refund us but will move us rooms in the morning when a room cleared. They ended up moving to our rooms on the other side. They called us at 1 pm the next day while we were PLASTERED at the beach and let us know to come claim the room. when we explained we were 40 minutes away and drunk on the beach and couldn’t come at the time they forfeited our room and gave it away. ANOTHER night in the big room. They ended up never giving us a refund but switched us room on the last night there to a non infested section (the 500’s). NOW back to my room (529 i believe?) the door had obviously been kicked in a few time bc of the clear gap in the door jam and the fact the lock hardly lined up with the hole. the back of the door has been used as a kids coloring book without being cleaned, and “newly renovated” actually means a piece of black “granite” placed over the old wood top of the dresser. The water pressure was eh especially for thick hair and sand. The bed was...
Read moreEveryone was nice, customer service is good. This hotel definitely has great potential. The location is great, literally in the middle of Savannah and close to everything. The price is wonderful on a regular day. The downside of this hotel is that when it’s a holiday the prices are super jacked up and not worth the price at all. I understand an increase in prices but this should definitely go according to the hotel so 96$ a night not including taxes is a rip off giving the condition of the hotel. Me and my family stayed here for about a little over two months and there was a pretty bad roach infestation. The first night we stayed there were roaches crawling all over the bathroom floor, walls, getting inside the fridge. We are not nasty people by far, we kept our room clean and cold, but they still would be everywhere. We decided to leave since they started to get so bad and were just simply were not paying $100+ for one night for Valentine’s Day. Upon leaving the roaches have followed us. They were all in my baby’s toys, threw those out, all in our bags etc. So I don’t recommend taking any personal belongings in that can carry them. I believe once they remodel and get the infestation down to a minimum this would be a great hotel for the price...
Read moreMy husband and I chose this hotel because we saw good reviews, well that was NOT the case! We used Experion to book the room when we got there and got up to our room, after climbing 4 flights of stairs (not to mention I'm 7 months pregnant), we were there for 5 minutes and saw a roach crawling around. We killed it and wasn't going to saw anything, after that we called the front desk to get a new battery for the fire alarm because it was beeping and wouldn't stop. A man came up (that did NOT speak a lick of english) and instead of changing the battery he took the fire alarm off the wall took the battery out and put it in the drawer. While waiting for him to come up we saw another roach and a dirty sock laying in the floor. Once mentioning this he told me to go to the front desk, the manager said to let her know of we found another one. At this point I was NOT happy! I saw another and let her know, I asked for a refund and she agreed. I had to call Experion and when they called to do the refund she wouldn't agree to it and acted like we were lying about the bugs and the condition of the room. It was the worste experience of my life. I wish I could give no...
