ALL of their staff need to work on their customer service skills. I'm about to leave this establishment with my husband, our little son, & my parents. We're paying for one of the least impressive meals we've had in a restaurant in quite awhile. 3 of us ordered the sweet potatoes as a side & they were dry & flavorless. We were told the sweet potatoes were like candied yams. That was far from the truth. We asked the server for cinnamon butter to improve the taste. After she supposedly spoke with the manager, we were told cinnamon butter was only for sweet potato fries & that they had NO other butter. To our server's credit, she offered us plain sugar, but we didn't think it would change the dryness & poor flavor of the sweet potatoes. My husband's request to get a different side to replace the sweet potatoes was ignored. Overall, the food & service were lacking. We ordered sodas/lemonades & at no point did we get any refill offers from the server. After all of the above & waiting as long as we did for our meals, we won't be back to this establishment. Savannah has SO many other restaurant options & there's no need to tolerate spending our hard earned money for such poor service & food. Let me not forget to mention that our meals weren't even brought to the table together. My son was eating 20 minutes before we were. The server must have sensed our lack of satisfaction because she found her "pleasant" personality when she brought the bill. I guess she thought about her tip then. I usually try to keep things positive, but after tonight, I feel compelled to share my experience. The situation was frustrating from start to finish. The manager became upset when my daughter didn’t want her food, which was wrongfully delivered. We were a party of four, and when I politely requested separate checks, he insisted we had to pay as one. I disagreed, and he responded by threatening to call the police. I told him to go ahead.
Typically, Fridays are our special time for my daughter and me to enjoy each other's company, but we've never encountered anything like this before. The manager started yelling because the kitchen had made an error, and he insisted that we follow his instructions. I calmly told him that he needed to learn how to communicate respectfully.
I remember when your restaurant first opened—there was no liquor license, the place was quiet, but the customer service was exceptional. Now, it feels like that experience has been completely forgotten. The way we were treated tonight, especially when it came to my daughter's hard-earned money, was disappointing. The manager continued to talk about who he knew, but I just found that laughable. He clearly had no idea who I am, and that’s irrelevant to me.

I ordered a seafood boil and let the server know that I was allergic to shrimp and need the shrimp to be separate and that my daughter would eat it. She asked me about the seasonings on both, and I told her that the boil needed to be medium with the house seasons and the shrimp only garlic butter due to my daughter eating them. When the food was brought out, I noticed my daughters had the same seasonings as mine. My daughter is 6, and this was too spicy for her. Also, the shrimp came out with heads on which, as the server stated and per the menu, normally the shrimp are headless. I told the waitree everything, but she never stated she would fix the situation. My daughter also needed a refill due to the spiciness, and we informed the waitress. After we finished what we could eat, we went to wash our hands. When we came back, our table had been cleaned completely off. We hadn't even paid or got our refills. I walked up to the server and told her, and she apologized and made my daughter a Togo drink. My food was too spicy for the medium and I love spicy food. I couldn't imagine the hot. My daughter was waiting over 15 minutes for a refill while her mouth was burning. Nothing was fixed after the waitress was informed. I paid 70$ for 1 bowl and 6 oysters.
