Five Guys — Restaurant in Schererville

The burger; a bacon cheeseburger, the fries; large, shared between myself and my partner. I'd even highly recommend one of their milkshakes, which, in my case was an OREO shake topped with whipped cream.

The reason for a 4 star vs. a 5 star? They have amazing grilled onions and have fresh, phenomenal green peppers, which I added to my bacon cheeseburger, but there isn't the option (as of the writing of this review) to get your green peppers grilled, which is disappointing.

In addition, the restaurant was significantly warm inside and all, but one of their sunshades for their west-facing windows was still raised during our visit (I lowered another so my partner and I could be comfortable during our visit.). This made viewing the drink options on their freestyle machines and tea dispenser almost impossible.

I hope they keep putting out good burgers, though! I'll definitely be back again, but perhaps, with a pair of...

This location restored Five Guys as my favorite burger. Chey and her crew were awesome. Fast service, fresh food, courteous staff. While we were there they were showing the young lady who rang us up how to make burgers. I am sure she learned well with these ladies teaching her. I have eaten at Five Guys across the country and always been happy. However the last four times, in different states, the burgers were sloppy, the service lacking, just overall making me not want to go back. My love for great cheeseburgers got the better of me and my wife and I stopped at this location. Believe me, we will be back. We haven’t been to your business in sometime. Eating out is special for us as we can’t afford to go out very often. What a sad disappointment on Mother’s Day. The hamburgers were not made well at all; one was barely noticeable on the bun, one had so much mustard and ketchup on it - it had to be scrapped off, and two we asked and paid for bacon which consisted of crumbled small pieces in the center of the bottom bun barely noticeable taste when we were eating the hamburgers. And let’s discuss the fries. Your employee told us that a large fry would serve 3-4 people. Well perhaps if you actually were served fries not bottom of the bag scraps. A bad dinner for $35.45.
