For the past 2 weeks I’ve been trying to put into words how incredible my two experiences at Pizzeria Virtù have been.
Let me first off start by saying the food is absolutely spectacular. True Neapolitan pizza is extremely rare to find in the US as it requires a certificate from a master from Naples. A lot of places advertise that they are and are met with cease and desist letters as it’s that strict to get a license to cook this type of pizza. Pizzeria Virtù exceeds any Neapolitan pizza I’ve had anywhere in the United States. Their Compania is my favorite cause it’s a simple classic. The Crudo is also spectacular! I absolutely do not like mushrooms but let me tell you the Funghi may be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. There are about 5 more pizzas on the menu that I need to try.
There is also an appetizer that you will need to go back and get every time you go... The Burrata. Sourdough bread drizzled with olive oil, fresh made Burrata that melts in your mouth drizzled in honey and nuts, and thinly sliced prosciutto that literally melts in your mouth like butter. This appetizer is the first thought I have every morning and the last thought before I go to bed each night.
Not only will the food knock your socks off the service will as well.
We were lucky enough to have Marshall both nights we went and let me tell you the guy is a mensch. He is the best server I’ve ever had. He remembered us and our orders and even our conversations. He has an excellent understanding of the menu and it’s wine and alcohol pairings and his suggestions are paramount. With so many good options to choose from it was nice to just go with his recommendations cause he won’t steer you to anywhere but pure bliss.
10/10 couldn’t be happier with Pizzeria Virtù and with Marshall’s service. I can’t wait...

Our waiter Marshall greeted us with a sincerely welcoming and infectious vitality that only instilled confidence of the dining yet to come. Upon his recommendation we began the meal with a 2017 Carpineto Dogajolo Toscano, a Savionese Red Blend that was soft enough to sip with subtle hints of vanilla and cherry but robust enough in its dryness to paint a map to the flavorful food to come. For the first, our table shared the House-made Burrata, an thoughtfully crafted dish that paired the creamy concoction with honey, nuts, toasted sourdough bread and the butteriest prosciutto you could imagine. Afterwards came the main attraction, the tirelessly trained perfection of Pizzeria Virtu’s namesake, the Neapolitan pizzas. As soon as they hit the table you could smell the high quality of ingredients and upon cracking the crust, the simplicity and pureness of the dough. The faint smell of yeast enveloped the palate, a delightful tease to the flavors that followed. We shared a red and white pizza, a classic Campania and umami loaded Funghi pizza. The flavors danced in unison with the flavorful wine recommended by our server. From start to finish the experience of food was heavenly and the overall restaurant journey was made even better thanks to our...
Read moreI wish I could give this place zero stars. I’m not one to write bad reviews on places, and in the age of overworked and underpaid service workers everywhere I definitely don’t write a place or person off after a bad experience… but you guys are truly the exception.
I was super excited to try out this restaurant that had good reviews and looked like a place my boyfriend and I frequent in Denver. When we arrived at open yesterday the restaurant was basically empty with one table outside sat. I asked for a table for two and was told by the rude male host that they were fully booked with reservations for the evening and that a whole slew of people were about to come in. Being a reservation based restaurant is fine, but I wish this had been noted somewhere beforehand. I asked if we could sit at the bar and a female coworker (I think the manager) came up and said we were more than welcome to sit at the bar. The pizza was good, the pasta wasn’t worth $18. By the time we left only two tables had been sat and I know for a fact one of them didn’t have a reservation. After leaving my boyfriend left a review and the owner responded that we’re never welcome back. Totally fine, I will make sure to let everyone know that your pasta and pizza isn’t worth the rude staff encounters...
