I just have to say the Denny’s located at 3315 at N. Scottsdale Rd. was absolutely an amazing and wonderful experience. When a very nice road cat cleaned restaurant from our hostess But mostly our server was absolutely amazing and I can’t leave out the amazing cooks because they made excellent food. It was me my mom and my daughter that ate at that Denny’s and we had the pleasure of having Rick be our server. Not only is he one of the nicest servers I’ve had in a long time. He was very much on top of taking excellent care of us. He made two fresh pot of coffee for my mama so anybody that goes out of the way for my mama you’re gonna get More praise than ever. Before retirement, I worked in big corporate world. And as a boss I know I would hire Rick in a minute. Like I said excellent customer skills take staying in good care of his tables and has a very nice refreshing sense of humor. Rarely do I get the kind of tips that I gave to Rick. He got almost half of what I paid for the entire mail and a tip because he deserved it. So Rick, if you’re reading this, I’m the one that came back in and talk to you Traci. Again, thank you for being a good sport and an excellent server. And for the management team that reads this, I said I’m a former boss in corporate world. He deserves to move up keep your eye on him. He’s one. He’s a hard dedicated worker and has every good quality I look for an employee that I am going to hire. I just wish I wasn’t retired and still were able to offer that manager job because he definitely in my opinion truly deserves to be watched by your managers. Many moons ago, I was a bartender, and I got tips like that because of my people skills And having the abilities to make your customers Laugh and enjoys, making his customers having a nice experience with him because he interacts with his customers. So again, what an amazing pleasure it was to eat at your location and you all will be seeing...
Read moreI went to the Denny's in Scottsdale off of Osborne and Scottsdale Rd. It was nice and cool inside, really freshing because I had just got off of the City bus after job hunting All day. I decided to treat myself to a nice sit down meal. As soon as I came in a young lady approached me with a cold glass of ice water, she said you look like you could use this and handed me the glass of water. After I finished the water, I noticed the young lady that handed me the water watching me, when I cooled down a little she came over and said Hello my name is Des'tenee would you like to be seated now? You know what I said? I yes I would and thank you for being patient with me. She said it's not a problem at all, I'm a native of Arizona so I know how hard it can be job hunting in the heat on the bus. I smiled she was sweet reminding me of family. It was a great eating experience for me she was so attentive but in a discreet way. You see for me I have seen customer service and customer service skills go right out of the window these days. They want you to spend your hard earned money with their particular company but they don't treat you like they care weather you are their or not, not realizing that you pass ten other companies before you get to theirs. Well I say if you love great food, family ambiance, a 5 star customer service and customer service skills, you need to get up and go to the Denny's on Scottsdale Rd and Osborn, go inside and ask to be seated in Des'tenees section. She is customer service excellence in physical form. The sweetest and also so polite and attentive but in a non overt way. Go just once you...

I came to this Denny's hungry and left spiritually fulfilled.
First off, shoutout to Esther Ann — the waitress with the energy of a sunrise and the timing of a Swiss watch. She didn’t just bring me water, she brought hydration with heart. She made me feel like I was the main character in a breakfast-themed rom-com (minus the romance, but full on the comfort food).
Now let's talk food: I ordered the Triple Applewood Smoked Burger — no onions — because life is full of enough tears already. And for the side? Onion rings. Yes, the irony was intentional, and yes, it was deliciously poetic.
The burger was juicy, smoky, and stacked like it was trying to impress someone. The onion rings? Crispy golden halos of flavor. They crunched like they had something to prove, and boy, did they deliver.
Esther Ann checked on me just the right amount — not too much, not too little — like a sitcom laugh track that actually gets the timing right. You can tell she loves what she does, and it made the whole meal feel like a warm, greasy hug (the good kind).
This isn’t just a Denny’s. It’s my...
