So our Airbnb just happened to be across the street from this place and what a treat it was to walk here and get coffee and breakfast! The owner Jauncy (spelling?) was super awesome, her husband roasts all the coffee himself and it’s bomb, and the food is fantastic! The bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich is phenomenal. By the way, the bacon is Canadian bacon, not traditional American bacon, just FYI. They make their own dill aioli in house as well! The muffins were great, the cinnamon rolls were great, they also have a great selection of beers and wines. The only negative was that they’re closed on Sundays, so I wasn’t able to go every day we were here in Scottsdale, but if they were open I would’ve gone every day. Please go support this small business so they can continue...
Read moreI got here at 6:59 a.m. (they open at 7am) on a Wednesday, but wasn't sure exactly what time it was. I walked inside the cafe because the door was open and was greeted with "we are not exactly open yet, we open in a few minutes" amd was asked to step back outside. Instead of waiting one minute, I left and went to my favorite coffee shop down the road, Inner Circle, instead. Because as their name suggests, at Inner Circle I'm treated like a customer and family. I've been to Grounds on 2nd a total of five times. Each time I was less than impressed, so I won't be back fair to say. The...
Read moreI heard about this new coffee shop/neighborhood beer and wine bar so I decided to check it out today. Upon entering I was greeted by the friendly staff who asked if I had any questions about the menu. I took a look and decided to try the Americano. I have to say, the Mythic Goat espresso beans they use may be the smoothest coffee I have ever had. I believe it is local as well. I took a look around the rest of the shop and found a great selection of craft beers, great NA beverages, and a well curated selection of wines. The place had a great ambiance with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Overall this place is a great spot to start the morning. I will be coming back in the evening sometime soon to try some of the amazing beers I saw in...
