BEWARE- BAD OR NO SERVICE! On July 4th, my husband and I were guests at Hotel Adeline and wanted to check out this speakeasy with two friends who were also guests at the hotel. The server refused to serve us for no reason at all. We came in, sat down, and only mingled amongst ourselves. All of a sudden, the server told us she didn’t feel comfortable serving us. We didn’t behave inappropriately or unacceptably to warrant this kind of treatment. We didn’t even argue with her and just left. This was our first time here and definitely will be our last. How they are still in business is shocking to me. We own a small business ourselves and wouldn’t turn away business for no reason. Save yourself the trouble and spend your money elsewhere. Horrible experience with Server Gee. My mother was ordering a Remy and Gingerale. The server stated she didn’t have Gingerale. So my fiancé asked, “do you have ginger beer?” The server immediately got upset and said I am talking to the lady and NOT you to my fiancé. My fiancé said “excuse me? That is my mother and I am just asking a question” the server then repeatedly asked my fiancé to leave, got into his face, was very rude and disrespectful and called him a “ misogynist” .
