Disappointed
This was an exciting find but unfortunately turned downhill quickly as Qdoba is not easy to find to our local area, and we were looking forward to a quick and satisfying meal. We came across QDOBA and decided to stop in, hoping for a good experience. When we walked in, we were greeted and shown where to go, which gave us the impression it might be a newer location. That part felt promising.
Unfortunately, the rest of the visit left us feeling disappointed and honestly, a little disheartened. While ordering, I had trouble understanding the cashier — I asked several times what our total was, and the communication just didn’t get better. We were surprised when the total came to $30 for a small burrito, a burrito bowl, and a drink. It felt like a steep price for what we received.
We sat down next to a woman who appeared to be from corporate. As two people with visible tattoos, we couldn’t help but feel a bit judged. She didn’t acknowledge us at all, though she warmly greeted two men in business attire who sat nearby after we did. It stung a little — it’s not something we like to assume, but it was hard not to notice the difference in treatment.
To make things more awkward, she left behind personal business documents at the table — including what looked like internal notes or emails related to catering issues from the Diocese of Fargo. It didn’t feel professional and added to the overall uneasy vibe.
As for the food — it just didn’t deliver. It lacked flavor, and after everything, it just didn’t feel worth the money we paid. The service after we ordered felt distant, like we were more of an inconvenience than customers.
We truly hoped for a better experience — something warm,...
Read moreThis place was almost $50 for 5 tacos, a tiny thing of rice and beans and 2 small drinks. The service was okay but even the employees seemed l Iike they didn't want to be there. They weren't very friendly. The food was gross, it was leaking sauce all over the place. The barbacoa tacos I got had brussel sprouts in them and tasted weird and not good. The seasoning of the grilled steak tacos was weird and unappealing and made me feel sick to my stomach. I'm not usually a hard critic but this place is horrible and there's nothing that's Mexican authentic about this place, it reminds me more of a Chinese/Mexican place with the weird combination of foods they serve. The price was ridiculous and was not worth it by any means!! I'm very disappointed and hurt that I wasted $50 on that place!! Sorry but that's...
Read moreA few ticks above chipotle. Food is awesome, but it’s the staff that sets it apart from other restaurants and keeps me comping back. I like to support companies that are run this well. I thought In-N-Out Burger had customer service locked down, but the staff here are remarkable. I went in today just to grab one of my favorite things in the world: their mango salsa and chips. While in line the GM comes over and introduces himself — I’ve got a pretty good spider sense for bs insincere courtesy, but this guy (Dominic) genuinely loves and is extremely good at customer service. I see how he’s the manager and why the rest of the staff are so unbelievably polite...
