TeaTime Scottsdale — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Went here for Mother’s Day Tea and it was so unorganized. The ambiance, the service and the food was all over the place. That is not the reason for the two stars though.

We had a gluten free person at our table (table of 4, including kids) which they accommodated but kept forgetting that one is us was gluten free and kept bringing food that was regular and then when reminded would bring the gluten free. Not a problem. They brought us a plate of sandwiches and came back a few minutes later to check on the food. I reminded her that one of us needed gluten free and she went and got it but when she came back she grabbed the plate of sandwiches that was already at table for a little while, we had eaten some of the sandwiches to adjust for the extra sandwiches (had sandwiches for four people instead of 3 ) She went to the counter right across from us, took sandwiches from the plate that had 3 servings that was meant for us and refilled the plate. Brought us the plate that was originally meant for us and SERVED the plate that had been on our table for several minutes, we touched the sandwiches and ate from it to SOMEONE ELSE!!!! I love this place! I first discovered it on a trip to Scottsdale and bought their Advent Tea Calendar. I was so impressed with the individually wrapped teas and all the unique flavors. Recently I decided to check out their website and saw a 31 Days of Comfort Tea box. Each individually wrapped bag of tea came with an inspiring, uplifting message. I was excited for my package to arrive. Unfortunately it got lost in the mail, but TeaTime's Marion graciously offered to send me a replacement. It arrived to me the next day, and I'm out of state.
