We came here based on the high star review. And the customer feedback.

Firstly the atmosphere is mediocre resembles more of a fast food establishment. What got our attention is the pricing. Trust me when I tell you this place is one of the most expensive sushi places in Broward. AGAIN THIS IS NOT JUDGING THEIR FOOD AND QUALITY. If they can survive at offering these prices. God Bless!

We eat alot of Asian and sushi in particular down here and back home near the US/Canada border. We have property in Fort lauderdale and have been comming here regularly for over 55 years. This is not a one and done dine experience. Most people do many mix and match rolls, hand rolls, sashimi, tempura. Your options here are limited for the amount of money you will spend. I was quite honest and upfront with the server and the owner as to why we would not stay as our order would have essliy been over $100 before tip and taxes. Again this is not based on food or quality. This is based on value for an expected meal.

This is just our opinion based on the price and the selections being offered this was not a place I would recommend based on the other options in the fort...

Fantastic vegetarian options at Sushi Runner and the food quality is quite good.

My partner and I are staying 1 block from the restaurant and decided to give it a try in spite of some negative reviews on Google.

I ordered the Fried Rice without the egg. The dish included Jasmine rice, onions, scallions, bean sprouts, and sesame oil. I added the tofu for my protein. I have to say I was shocked at how good the dish was. The tofu was actually breaded and fried and added a nice texture to the dish. I enjoyed my fried rice.

My partner ordered the Crispy Tofu Poke which included marinated crispy tofu, baked sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, avocado and a spicy sauce. He totally enjoyed every bite.

This place is amazing! Warning, there are a lot of options so it can be overwhelming for some but most items on this menu have a picture ( which I love ) so I was able to try a few sushi dishes that I had not been exposed to. The Sushi sandwich was amazing and the other sushi dishes I ordered hit the spot! The restaurant itself is located in a shopping center and is very spacious and modern and not decorated like a traditional sushi restaurant. Feel free to walk to the counter, flip through the menu or grab a menu, take a seat and flip through. Either way, it is very comfortable inside with multiple televisions and outdoor seating as well. I highly recommend checking this place out for all things sushi, especially if you are visual ( like me) and want to explore other sushi-based options. A...
