Hershey's Shake Shoppe Arcade — Restaurant in Seaside Heights

I have been spending time at the Jersey shore for over 50 years. This year we purchased a condo in Seaside Heights and have been there almost every weekend. Unfortunately we typically are in the area of Midway and south. Yesterday we went North and I am so glad we did. We wandered into the Shake Shoppe arcade for the first time. While the arcade itself can use some updating, the customer service we experienced from Joe was outstanding. When a machine we were using was malfunctioning, he took the time, while being short staffed, to fix it rather than giving up and putting an “Out of order” sign on it and giving is credit on another machine. He then explained how the tickets work and helped us find something to get with our winnings. Joe is patient, friendly, knowlegeable, and quite obviously a people person who enjoys his job. I give him a 5+++ star rating. A rare treat at his young age. Thanks to Joe, we will be sure to come back to Shake Shoppe next time we are down, and next...

Horrible aracde.. spent 100 total in this place first 40 on cranes where the claws didn't even close and I mean most other arcades at least have the claw pick it up and drop it this places claws didn't even close on any crane machine.. so then we went to the points and spend an additional 60 winning points we ended up with 65 points total again claw machines that wouldn't even grab thilos little rolls of tickets... even told the one employee behind the counter how bad it was and said loud and clear were going back to sonnys and Ricky's, where we spend 20 and got 70000 points...avoid the arcade i dont even Care about the icecream will never go back into...

Extremely dishonest! After telling my daughter multiple times it's impossible to win a big prize with a claw game she proved me wrong. She had her eyes set on Beat headphones and a watch that was on display. This claw game you did not pick up the prize but a bag that said prize winner and in it was a note that said what prize you won. She won the headphones. I handed them the note and to my surprise they handed me a cheap (probably $5) pair of headphones. I asked to speak to the manager and told her this wasn't what was on display and she told me unless it says Beats this is what you get take it...
