Today, after a long tedious trip from NY to the shore, I decided to go into this establishment and order two chicken Cesar salads. At first the two young girls behind the counter were sweet, but seemed a tad less experienced. For example, I asked about getting a wrap instead of a sandwich and they had to ask if that was possible. I ordered my salads, paid, and stayed in front of the register to wait for my food. I then noticed people were moving to the side of the restaurant where the boardwalk was once they ordered food to wait, and relocated myself there. I saw the staff calling out orders at both locations so I was not sure were to get my food but didn’t think anything of it. I moved in front of the register again bc I remembered I had ordered 4 drinks and wanted to ask for a bag for them. As I did that I quietly heard what I thought was my order called out. I ran around back to the boardwalk side to only see the girl give my order to another patron. She then asked me what I was waiting for. I reminded her, but at this point I was starving and lost patience. I wish she told me where to wait to get my food and called my order louder so I could have heard or at least checked a receipt of the costumer who took my order. I admit I lost it, it was not my finest moment, and kept saying just please make my salads. I wanted to get out of there. She argued back, blaming me for this whole situation. She then went back to the cooking staff and bad mouthed them in front me saying it was my fault they had to remake my food bc she called my order 5x ( not true) and I never walked up to the counter. Also, untrue. Finally the salad were ready and I thanked the gentleman who prepared them and left. I get back to the beach to eat to see no dressing. Not a big deal. So I walk back to ask for the dressing they might have forgotten to be told they didn’t have anymore and ran out. Wouldn’t you tell a costumer that when you are preparing their dish instead of giving them nothing? I paid for a whole Cesar and got part of it. I won’t be returning to this pizzeria and the staff needs to be trained on how to make sure food is given to the correct customers bc reading reviews here, I am not the only this has...
Read moreUpdate on my experience at shore slice. I went back and tried their pizza. I enjoyed their pizza. They make a good pie and have good price. I have tried their cheese, pepperoni, and mushrooms and onions. I would recommend eating their. They seem to be better organized now. I'm glad I went back.
I ate there on Tuesday night. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich. As I was waiting I hears my name called out. As I was answering his call i watched the counter help hand my order to someone else. When I tried to tell the girl behind the counter she didn't answer me she just stood there. When I told the manager he handed me what he had left a sandwich with cheese and meat. Nothing else. It was the worst sandwich I have had and an experience I...
Read moreLet me start by saying every time I go out with people they beg me not to get pizza... it inevitably goes back. Never crisp even though I stress that it has to be crispy...repeatedly. I ordered here as advised by of a friend for the first time...I stressed the pie COULD NOT BE FLOPPY... never in all of my time did a place reach out to me about my order and discuss my concerns. This guy Euan did! Wow! To the point...my pizza WAS NOT FLOPPY AT ALL... its my go to now! How incredibly awesome that Euan reached out and was concerned about it being how I wanted... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED....ONLY PLACE TO GO ON SSH boards. It's fabulous 👌 👏 👍 cannot comment on atmosphere..had delivered. And...
