This is gonna be a long one so Buckle up! Went down to seaside for my birthday weekend and all I wanted was a relaxing room with a balcony for a great ocean view. Find this place and from the pictures it looked decent with a great view and an even better price. I should have read reviews first. We got there Friday afternoon, took about 10 minutes for me to find someone to check in, no biggie. I asked the person on duty where to park my truck because it’s a small parking lot, the guy says “this will be designated for your truck and points to a perfect parking spot. We unload and go to our room on the 3rd floor, steps were slippery as all hell, same with the painted walkway. We see there’s a huge puddle from the air conditioner outside of our room, kind of a bad spot but whatever. Get in the room and it was far beyond ANY picture shown on their website. It smelled weird but we figured it was due to the humidity and mixture of sea air. Pulled the bed covers back to put our own stuff on there, hair on the sheets, not talking about head hair either. Immediately went down to get fresh sheets, the guy kind of just tossed them to us and went about his business. We go to change everything and there’s urine stains on the mattress cover. Annoyed but still wanting to make the best of it, my girlfriend and I switched stuff over with the other bed. The bathroom sink was barely mounted to the vanity cabinet, rocking back and forth as I was brushing my teeth. We left the hotel to go watch the eagles game, got back around 1 am to zero parking in the parking lot. I called the number on the door 5 times no answer. There was one spot dead middle, I parked my F250 in that spot but noticed everyone else could simply drive forward to get out. 115 am rolls around and there’s a loud banging on the door as I’m trying to get the hot water in the shower (that looks like it hasn’t been washed properly in a month) to work. It was the “manager” who looked like he’s been up for 3 days bangin lines, speeding around talking so fast that we could barley understand him. He starts flipping out about how my truck can’t be parked there and I need to move it. I say something about the room and hot water and he just barges in the room right for the bathroom without asking.says it was a beautiful room and then says it’s just the the shower knob was broken and needed to be played with. I ask him where he expects me to park my truck when everything is meter parking only and I told him that the previous guy working said he’d block off and reserve that spot for me. I told him that I called him 5 times and argued that I didn’t and when I show him I did he said “oh sorry I left my phone at the other hotel” He tells me to park almost 2 blocks down the road and he’ll give me a parking pass, all while getting in my face and telling me how he “managed Hilton hotels for 20 years” so as we’re arguing in the middle of Ocean Terrace, he decides to show us a “deluxe remodeled suite” at no extra charge we could have it. We view the room, I pull the sheets back, again hair that’s not off someone’s head on the sheets. So now my girlfriends upset and tells him she wants her money back and we will leave, he said he can’t do that. And of course after threatening with the health board and disputing the credit card charges he says “come down at 8 am and I’ll refund you your money” and hands me a parking pass to “park anywhere in seaside with out paying a meter. 8 am rolls around nobody’s there in the office. Called him 4 times because we wanted out. He finally shows up and is demanding i give back the parking pass he gave me to park over night. Which was a lie that pass doesn’t work anywhere because I received a 45 dollar ticket for “non payment of meter.” No sooner as he says this a woman comes in who’s also staying there and complains that there’s no shower curtain on her shower, it smells, and the beds were unsanitary. So it wasn’t just our room. Highly recommend to STAY FAR FAR AWAY...

NOT GOOD!!/ Moldy/ the 2 beds in 1 room? I sat in it & it went to the floor as I felt the springs in my ass, the entire set up was wrong, the TV( no channels) was facing the window while the beds faced the opposite direction , it was a joke how it was set up and who cared about the TV?? but the rest???lol, I was ASTOUNDED at HOW BAD IT WAS I was also ANGRY because the cost was pricey for an off season time & I just couldn't believe they'd try and get someone to stay in that room!! it was gross smelling & it was just beyond anything I've ever seen B4 as far as " bad" motel/ hotel. I couldn't stop my anger, it was not anything like the website tells you!! so..im.ranting & raging just so pissed & my husband ( not there) reminds me it's not the room you're there for your daughter, ok..so..4 hours I'm STILL PISSED OFF CUZ I PROMISE YOU IT WAS BAD!! then? I made myself clear to the manager/ owner? I'm not shy & I will say what I'm angry about I agreed that it was non refundable but I was furious that it was almost just unbearable. My daughter ( who booked it got a call 4 hours later telling her we'd been moved if we'd like to a different room & would we like to see it 1st?. This room? is almost exactly like what the website offers. It's very tidy, big TV fridge microwave and an ocean view. I am very pleased with the new room however, There were ants, we were in the VERY BEST ROOMS AT THE TOP OF THE HOTEL, the deck? was nice ok so we were moved I think? because I have a big mouth & im. ky afraid to say what's what. I owned that we paid for...what we thought was an ok room off season..this place? is run by?... not sure but know it's NOT GOOD DESPITE ITS LOCATION. I truly wanted it to be good, they moved us ( my daughter? thought the dude Mohammed was on A ' substance '....so they must have heard me cuz not I was NOT OK WITH IT...so we got? upgraded to? the ONLY 2 DECENT rooms in the entire place. They? won't tell you but it's bad, it's TRULY BAD I didn't say anything until I was gone cuz the guy who ' runs ' it actually came after me yesterday ( Sun) saying " you're leaving today!" I replied no tomorrow, " he argued with me until he looked it up cuz? We were in ? THE BEST RIOM and???? it's not ok ants nothing extra have to ask for anything that's not expected it's the absolute worst place I've ever dealt with, I stfu cuz he " upgraded " us to,?.The room you see online but he wanted us OUT ASAP cuz?? It's truly a disaster. The ONLY THING THEY HAVE? is their location, do NOT be fooled go by the reviews!!! it was HORRIBLE do. ot waste your $$ it's unbelievable that they'll take your $ and give you nothing they stock their rooms with old shitty furniture, I am.nly jokimu I saw it and it wasn't anything I'd give less than a zero to hence removed the crappy review. Read moreThe only reason this review even gets 2 stars is because it's on the boardwalk. First off, the room that we anticipated getting based off of the pictures on their photos were nothing like what we actually received. First off, they tried to place us in a motel across from this hotel for some reason which I thought was sketchy and when we went in that room, it was so outdated and dark with wooden walls and no natural lighting. We immediately went back to the office and asked for a room at this location (which is what we should have received initially). The guy, Jordan, then found a room on the 2nd floor in Room 4, which was in the corner of the building facing a mural. Upon entry, we noticed the lock was not secure and was shakey, which was a red flag for 2 ladies. The room furniture was nothing like what they advertised in their photos. We didn't have a couch (which is on the layout for a 2 double bed room) and the furniture was a dark brown/black as opposed to the light brown were were anticipating. The sheets were not clean (had straight blond and brunette hair strands throughout) and the comforter has a red stain on it (who knows what that was). We ended up just sleeping on top of the comforter with a towel under us. It was so uncomfortable and cringy to sleep on. The bathroom door opens out and bumps into the bed next to it so the space was very limited. The bathroom ceiling tiles were not secured and had cracks in the ceiling tile light fixture. The face basin drawers were cracked and had metal sticking out. The shower has soap scum and mold on the bottom upon entry and wall paper was practically coming apart. It was a horror show and quite frankly seemed really ghetto. It's amazing they are charging $175 after taxes and they are using Direct TV for entertainment with no wifi. At best, the room is worth $85-$95 for the night. Other people may have had a different experience because maybe their rooms were different but if you are going to advertise a certain look in your photos, it should be consistent throughout the hotel. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy as it was so cringy to be in and if it wasn't so late in the day, we would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. I even asked Jordan for some sort of reimbursement for the catfish experience and he said unfortunately he can not. Whew, talk about customer service... Well, that's it that's all. If we ever do come back to the shore, I will drive to Tom's River to find a real decent hotel as I see many of the places in Seaside Heights are 2 and 3 star stays unfortunately. Another day survived at least. Hope this helps...
