It’s always a good feeling when you walk up to a BBQ place and watch the owner loading the smoker up with multiple racks of ribs! Sean and Nicki’s place does not mess around. Nicki’s cakes are absolutely delicious- individually wrapped spice cakes,carrots cakes, espresso cakes, etc.- My fiancé and I had 2 and they were both soft and delicious. BBQ was bomb. Not over the top glitzy- no waitress, table service, fanfare, fuzzy words of encouragement- good BBQ from hardworking, respectful, kind people. The chicken was the best BBQ chicken I’ve ever had, brisket was so juicy.. honestly my fiancé and I got all the meat they sell because we had to try everything- their meat is not overly smoked which I appreciate so you can taste the meat and their homemade sauces are delicious. It was great. We even picked up a few cute local handmade gifts they sell there. You get water or tea in a red solo cup - that’s their drink options and we loved this about them. Absolutely phenomenal. Gray’s Comfort Q BBQ & Coffee delivered the best meat I have ever tasted in my life — and I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ across the country. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, deeply smoky, tender, and packed with rich flavor that didn’t need a drop of sauce (though their house sauces were next-level too). You can tell this is craft BBQ made with love, precision, and serious talent.

The pulled pork was buttery soft with the perfect bark, the brisket was juicy and beautifully marbled, and the ribs practically fell off the bone but still had that perfect bite. Even the sides were incredible — comforting, thoughtful, and clearly made from scratch. And the coffee? Somehow just as memorable. Smooth, bold, and a perfect match to the BBQ.

The staff was warm, welcoming, and passionate, and the whole place has this relaxed, soulful vibe that makes you want to stay all afternoon. Gray’s isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. We needed some good BBQ around here and so far this place works for me! Picked some up yesterday for the 1st time and me & my wife were pleasantly pleased.  The very nice man that runs the place is serving up some pretty tasty food. After a little pleasant conversation, I ordered the Brisket, Baby Back Ribs and side orders of Beans, Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw and the Greens. I always judge a BBQ joint by their brisket, and if you're looking for something like Famous Dave's BBQ, this ain't it because this place is the real deal! The meats had a nice smokey flavor and we especially liked the brisket. The ribs were very good served dry-rub style with extra sauce optional, and they have a little "kick" to them spice wise. All of the sides were really good, and the collard greens were the freshest I ever had. Since we live nearby I will definitely be going back...
