Went there for the first time and had a shrimp taco an asada taco and nachos. Everything was pretty tasty so we returned the next night to eat again. (Don’t judge us for eating out two nights in a row 😂) I literally watched them put the enchiladas that we ordered in the microwave to cook them. Like legit roll the tortillas with cheese, dip in sauce and put the plate in the microwave. I’ve never seen anything like that at a taqueria or any restaurant period. Read moreA personal favorite of ours! Back when we used to come visit the Peninsula, I always made sure we stopped here. Most of those places had no kids' menu, and the two that did, wouldn't take phone orders. WE ARE SO GLAD! We "settled" for Taqueria Zarape, and it was FANTASTIC! The Camarones Mojo was exquisitely buttery and garlicky. The taco salad with carne asada had a perfect balance between the warm and cold ingredients, and the meat was perfectly seasoned. The kids loved their quesadillas, but at 8 and 10, having just spent an hour running around the park, will get the adult size next time. (Oh, yes, there will be a next time! Maybe breakfast tomorrow....
