Most awful stay I have ever experienced. A friend booked a room for our party on the last night of an 8 day trip along the CA/OR coast. I thought I was tired enough to endure a cheap room for the night. I was wrong. Upon our arrival, the corridor reeked of vomit and feces, for which the management placed fans in the hallways as a remedy. This only added noise to the stench. The beds are so awful that I considered sleeping on the floor but was afraid to do so due to thd possible germ population already choosing that area over the bedding - which has an odiferous quality unto itself. The shower has almost no water pressure, but that goes along with the towels that are tiny, paper-thin, and unable to absorb much more than a droplet anyway. Cleanliness of these towels also becomes an issue as it is apparent by the lack of a place to hang said threads of material is mysteriously missing, leaving one to assume that the drying area is the floor. Fortunately, due to the size and texture of these items (see above) - they dry quickly. Our "neighbors" (fellow victims?) of this establishment are many, as evidenced by the amount of noise throughout the property. A veritable orchestra of foorsteps, door-slams, toilet flushing and the gleeful gatherings of large families with many children and what I can only surmise to be live-stock by the caucaphanous din will entertain you long into the night and early morning. I have no idea how my travel mates are continuing to rest (albeit fitfully at best). I am heading out to sleep in my car, making bedding out of the accumulation of laundry and food crumbs acquired along our travels. I believe this to be a more sanitary option - at least I know where these items have been. I am hoping to squeeze in a few hours of sleep prior to the beginning of another of the aforementioned orchestral performances. Good night All and remember to keep in your hearts "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home. P.S. keep in mind - if it is nice accommodations you seek - DO...
Read morePLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is INFESTED with bed bugs. The management and the people at the front desk will try and cover it up because they know that they have a bedbug problem. They don't want to lose any business. After I try to come to them respectfully with my problem, all they tried to do was give me a refund for the one night that I was no longer staying there. There's absolutely no reason I should have paid for any portion of my stay in and infested room. It was absolutely disgusting. I have videos and pictures of all the bites ALL over my skin. NEVER have I ever dealt with something so disgusting and vile in my entire life. Even after the maintenance guy confirmed that there were bedbugs all he did was change the sheets. They're putting people into the same room is where they can get bitten up themselves. It is disgusting and somebody needs to put a stop to it. I told him I alerted the department of health and they said all they can do was give me an extra refund for one night. The continental breakfast was absolutely subpar. It was nothing more than to pastries some pieces of bread a toaster apples and oranges. It is not worth staying here at all.
The rooms were not that clean and they were extremely small. The toiletries and amenities that they gave you were nothing more than cheap...
Read moreThis was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! We were not given an ADA accommodation as asked for when booking and then when we got to our room, there were ants every where. Maintenance did come out one time to take care of it but they only made it worse. At 10:30, I had to have someone come out again as there was literally an infestation of ants in my room. When I went to the office, the morning manager was fully aware already of the ants and very apologetic. I told her there was no way I was going to pay for the room due to being up all night with my kids. She offered me a full refund with an apology. I felt better about the situation then, but now I'm finding out they only refunded me 15% of my room charge. I called and spoke to the manager and she actually told me that I should have checked out of the room at 10:30 at night and gone somewhere else. She actually said to me, "...There are plenty of other hotels in the area; you could have found somewhere else to stay." Sorry, but packing up my 2 kids, 87 year old Mom and all our stuff at 10:30 at night and searching for a hotel didn't seem like an great option.||She also said they record the lobby and when I asked her to go back and review the tape, she refused to do so. I asked that if she was sure she said 15%, then go back and watch the tape. She told me she didn't have time to deal with me as she had other guests to worry about. I asked to speak to the owner and she said I could only email him as he doesn't speak to guests, then she hung up on me before giving me the email address. Comical and the worst customer service experience. ||From front to back! The...
