LOL! Yes, LAUGHABLE! Can’t get mad anymore because the reviews and 2 star does justice and definitely describes this place to a T! The 1 or 2 stars are from the brave and generous reviewers, I commend them for their generosity and honesty! As the adage goes, feedback is a gift! The place is inviting from the outside but as soon as you walk in, the convoluted process of getting food commence and the lively ambiance ceased to exist! If you want to get pizza and soup, you have to order and pay at the coffee/sandwich shop up front/as soon as you walk in, then the cashier walks the order to the pizza/soup place, Pizza Vino and you wait or wander around. There is a burger place, grab-and-go, pre-made/packaged sushi, sandwiches and salad, a Salt & Straw freezer [there was nothing in that tiny freezer!] where you ring your own self up in the kiosk! The sandwich melt I bought wouldn’t even be considered nor safe as pet food!!! The chowder was great, though! Big chunks of clams and really chunky! I made a comment immediately as I bit into the sandwich that their food here is just like hospital food but then again I’ve never had bad hospital food! I rescind that comment I made to myself, family and friends! THIS. IS. WORSE. THAN....
Read morePaid $22 for the dryest, blandest egg and cheese sandwich ever, and a tiny bottle of water. Have they ever heard of butter? And the lady is calling out orders in a loud shrill voice that could break the windows and wake the dead, but is completely unintelligible. It's barely 6am and there are a handful of dumbfounded people standing near the counter and flinching every time the lady yells something. Everyone can hear her but no one can understand a word of what she is saying. Finally someone asks her for the order number, and she shrieks out a number, and the person standing inches away from her gets their food after recovering from the shock. After this she continues to call out numbers, which are much easier to understand. But she sounds as if she is trying to be heard over the noise at a football stadium in a quiet, half-open food hall with a few half-awake pour souls who haven't had their morning coffee yet.
On the plus side: the food was hot, and there's a seating area with a view of the tarmac.
I will skip this next time and opt for a yogurt and fruit from the...
Read moreI came late morning when the airport was not busy and the restaurants within Food Hall were well staffed and clearly not overworked. I ordered a burger from True Burger. The people staffing the grill were standing there doing next to nothing and what they served ended up being an extremely soggy burger, where the bread was as mushy as mashed potatoes, and the patty was under seasoned and undercooked, and the whole thing was made with so little love or attention or professionalism one has to question Why are they bothering serving anything at all when I can walk over to the next chain fast food restaurant and get far superior items. Let the owners of the brand beware that your brand is being diluted to nothing here. This place has lost my business and my family‘s business for at least a year or two or until I’m desperate and there’s nothing left to eat, but even then.
Other stands within the food hall offer better quality and service, but it’s not possible to rate them separately, so it’s too bad they are being lumped together...
