Seattle #7: this is one of two The Club lounges at SeaTac. This is a Priority Pass lounge and is located above gate S9.
I went out of my way to come to this particular The Club as opposed to the one in Concourse A based on Google Map and Priority Pass reviews.
Honestly, not sure why this lounge is rated so low. There's ample space to sit, ample light and views of the aircrafts, hot food and a full bar.
I visited one morning and then had my flight delayed, so I was there as they transitioned from breakfast to lunch around 11:00am. While the food isn't the best, there's enough warm and cold options that everyone should find something to satiate themselves.
There's a coffee machine and a full bar. The full bar has a few "select" cocktails, but I would advise against them. During my visit I sat near the bar to watch the Olympics, and so many folks ordered the special mimosa (they just add some sort of sweet syrup). One guy/kid actually asked to have a shot of vodka added to his mimosa around 9am...
Since Chase pulled their PP restaurant perk, I imagine this lounge will become more and more crowded, but when I visited there was...
Read moreAbsolute waste of money and terrible staff. We had a 7hr layover in Seattle so paid $150 bucks for 3 people to have somewhere nicer to hang out. We turned up 20mins before our allotted time (because we had nothing else to do). Got "helped" by a grumpy receptionist who seemed thoroughly annoyed to have to help us. Then: They couldn't find our reservation. Then when I showed my email confirmation they were adamant we couldn't enter the lounge until the time shown on our reservation. So we had to sit and wait 20mins. At the allotted time we went to check in again. We show our email confirmation, and now they can't find THAT in the system either. Eventually after 10mins the staff member admits defeat and has to get help 15mins past our time we finally get in. So much for being strict about time. The lounge is PACKED. No seating anywhere. And they're still letting people pay at the desk to get in.
I'm writing this sitting in a cramped little TV room. My family isn't sitting together. We had to find what seats we could. My daughter's power outlet doesn't work. This is garbage.
Do not waste your...
Read moreNot bad, first time using priority pass at a lounge in SeaTac. Saw better reviews on PP app for South satellite so headed there.
There was a waitlist but only had to wait 5-8 minutes. I arrived around 4pm.
The only thing I wish was that they provided gloves to handle the utensils when serving food or some sort of single use barrier.
The chowder was good, added some bacon bits from the salad area but what made my stomach churn was the pile/glob of cold chowder on the resting utensil plate I had to put back into the hot plate to get my serving. 🤢 Find a different food warmer to keep the spoon inside.
5 stars for those gummy bears though! Those are bomb!
I looked but did not see a self bus station which would probably help this lounge greatly.
People are saying this place is understaffed and I agree but also I think it's just the people with a lack of just basic human behavior. Clean up after yourselves and if you make a mess clean it up....
